8. Installation of the camera

The camera is supplied with the bracket ready for wall mounting. If ceiling
mounting is required then the U-bracket [3] must be rotated 180° as follows:
# Remove the 2 U-bracket screws [4]( see Fig. B:I).
# Slide the inner camera housing [6] backwards until the U-bracket is
free of the metal housing [2] (see Fig. B:II).
# Remove the U-bracket and relocate it on the top side of the housing
(see Fig. B:III).
# Slide the inner camera housing towards the front as far as possible
and then reinsert and tighten the U-bracket screws (see Fig. B:IV).
! Fix the bracket [18] in the selected location (eg. wall or ceiling) using the
supplied screws [21] and if necessary the supplied wall plugs [20] (see
Fig. C: V and VI).
! Screw the thread of the bracket [18] into the thread of the U-bracket.
! Adjust the angle of the camera to give the required view and then tighten
the triangular nut [16] and the wing screw [17].
! Screw the antenna [15] into the antenna connection [7] so that the
antenna is in an upright position.
! Connect the DC-plug of the mains adapter cable [19] to the mains adapter
connection [5] of the camera cable.
! Connect the mains adapter with a suitable mains outlet.
! The POWER LED [9] lights red.
9. Connection pairing
The additional camera and the receiver/monitor must be paired with each other
to establish the wireless connection. The camera delivered in the set is already
paired with the receiver on channel 1. In order to connect an additional camera
to the receiver/monitor (maximum 3 additional cameras) proceed as follows:
! Select the point "Pair CAM" in the on-screen menu.
! Select the desired channel.
! Check that the camera is powered (POWER LED [9] lights red) and that it is
within the reception range of the receiver.
! Open the rubber flap [8] covering the "Pairing" button with a pointed
object, pulling up from the left hand edge.
! Press the channel selection button on the receiver/monitor to start the
connection procedure.
! Within 60 seconds press the pairing button [13] on the camera and hold it
pressed for 5 seconds. The remaining time available to finish the pairing is
counted down on the screen.
! A successful connection is indicated by the display of the camera picture on
the screen and the lighting of the green connection LED [12].

10. Maintenance and cleaning

! The products are maintenance-free: do not open the housings
! Check the safety and function regularly
! Remove the mains adapters from the mains sockets before cleaning
! Use a soft, slightly moist cloth or brush to clean the surfaces
Do not clean using carbon rich cleaners, Petrol, alcohol or similar. These
can be damage the surfaces. Also the fumes cause a danger to health
and of explosion. Do not use any sharp tools (eg screwdrivers) or metal
brushes for cleaning.
11. Disposal
Do not dispose of packaging material, used batteries or products as
household waste. Please use your recycling system. Details are
available from your local authority.
