Pairing/adding a new Bluetooth connection
1) Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device and make
your device visible.
2) Press the button on the sound system control panel
for 5 seconds
3) The system will automatically enter "Pairing" operating
mode, and the LED will flash quickly.
4) Enable the "Search for device" option on your mobile
device. The Bluetooth system will now be displayed
with the name "SOUNDBOX". Select "SOUNDBOX".
Press "Yes" to confirm the "Connect to SOUNDBOX?"
prompt.
5) Some mobile devices will require you to enter the
code in order to connect. If so, enter "0000".
6) Once pairing has been completed successfully, the
connection status is displayed as "connected".

Operating the SOUNDBOX
The status display (LED – light-emitting diode) above the function key
«SOUNDBOX» flashes for 0.5 seconds every second when the controller is
connected to the mains (= mains voltage present).
1) Press the button
2) The LED will show a steady light during start-up
(approx. 12 seconds). It will then start blinking slowly
to show that the system is ready for operation.
3) If your device has been connected before, the
connection will now be established automatically.
If it does not connect automatically, manually enable
the "connect" option on your mobile device.
Press "Yes" to confirm the "Play music via SOUNDBOX?"
prompt.
4) You can now play audio files on your mobile de-
vice via the Bluetooth connection and the Schmidlin
SOUNDBOX.
You can control the volume using the buttons
and/or
5) Deactivate the SOUNDBOX by pressing the button
again. The system will then enter standby mode,
and the Bluetooth module and amplifier will be
switched off.
