Situate™ premium cotton vaginal packing is a
single-use RF-tagged cotton disposable that
must be used with the Situate™ Detection
System. The disposables have an attached RF
tag that is an electrically passive inductor-like
device. When activated by electromagnetic
impulses from the scanning devices, the tag
resonates a signal that allows for the detection
of these cotton disposables.

sponge counts prescribed to prevent
retained objects. The system is intended as a
supplement to standard counting practices.

Indications for Use

This product is intended to be used inside the
body or a surgical incision to control bleeding,
absorb fluid, or protect tissues/organs.

None.
Disposal
Dispose of used or opened Situate™ premium
cotton vaginal packing in accordance with
standard hospital protocol.
Precaution
Situate™ premium cotton products are
supplied in sterile packaging. Dispose of used
or opened sterile products using standard
hospital protocol.
