Your Car MP3 Energy™ 1204 has an installed operating system, usually
called firmware, which eventually can be reinstalled or updated. The
process is easy, but has to be performed carefully, and only when it is really
necessary. If you see that the player halts, reboots randomly, or you have
problems to access the memory content, those are signs that the firmware
might be damaged so you should reinstall the latest version available.
Please follow these instructions to install a new firmware:
1.
Go to the Energy™ Sistem web site www.energysistem.com with any
internet browser.
2.
Go to the "Downloads" section and choose the "Car MP3/MP4/MP5"
product line.
3.
Choose your model of Car MP3 Energy™ from the dropdown list and
download the latest firmware revision.
Important: Make sure that the version you have downloaded is specific for
your model and serial number. Otherwise your device can be damaged or
become useless by installing an incorrect firmware.
4.
Uncompress the file in your computer.
5.
Open the instructions file provided inside the download file and follow them
step by step to correctly install the new firmware in your Car MP3 Energy™.
