• On construction sites, electrical machin-
ery may only be supplied with power
via a construction site distribution
board or a separate isolation trans-
former.
• When water comes out of the control
opening 3, stop working immediately
and have the machine checked by an
authorized customer service agent.
• If the cable is damaged or cut through
while working, do not touch the cable
but immediately pull the mains plug.
Never use the machine with a dam-
aged cable.
• Only insert the plug when the machine
is switched off, and unplug after use.
• Switch off the machine if it should
come to a stop for any reason. After
a break or an interruption from work,
only switch the machine on after hav-
ing made sure that the core bit rotates
freely.
• Always use the auxiliary handle and
hold the, machine with both hands.
Be aware of the machine's reaction
torque.
• When starting the drilling, do not
guide the drill by hand. The machine
can injure you, resulting in loss of con-
trol. Work only with a drill-starter or the
drilling jig 14.
• Wear safety goggles .and hearing
protection. Wear protective gloves.
• Take care with long hair. Only work
with closely fitting clothing.
• The machine may not be operated by
persons under the age of 16 years.
