1. Place the machine on a flat surface.
2. Fill the cooking bowl with the amount of water signaled on the measuring bea-
ker for the number of eggs to be boiled.

This symbol stands for hard boiled eggs.
The individual lines above this symbol indicate the number of eggs
3. Insert the egg tray.
4. Pierce the eggs on the bottom to avoid that they crack. Use the picker on the
upper side of the egg tray. Press the egg delicately against the piercing needle
until the egg is pierced.
5. Distribute the eggs evenly and one opposite the other in the egg tray.
6. Cover it with the lid.
7. Insert the plug in a duly installed 230V/50Hz socket. The control lamp now illu-
minates. The eggs are ready when the buzzer sounds. Remove the mains lead.
8. Please hold the lid by the handle and put it to one side. Caution! Hot!
9. Remove the egg tray from the cooking bowl and dip the eggs in cold water.
Always remove the plug from the mains supply before cleaning the machine!
The exterior of the machine should be cleaned, if necessary, with a slightly
damp cloth without additives.
Wash the lid and the egg tray in a normal sink.
The decalcification intervals depend on the hardness of the water and the fre-
quency of use.
If the machine switches off before the water boils, it probably needs to be decal-
cified.
Do not use vinegar, but a normal citric acid-based decalcifier. Follow the
manufacturers' instructions!
