CAUTION:
To prevent accidents, make sure to turn the switch off and disconnect to the plug from the power receptacle.
Assembling the auxiliary side handle (Fig 1)
The auxiliary side handle (3) can be positioned on the right or left side of the machine.
- Simply tighten the side handle (3) by turning it.
Installing/changing the diamond grinding cup (Fig 2)
CAUTION:
The grinding cup can become very hot during working process. Before replacing, allow the cup to coll down.
- Engage the Y-Wrench into two holes of the grinding cup (1) in order to block it.
- Untight the fixing screw M8x35 (14), then remove the flat mat (15) and the grinding cup (1).
- Clean the flat mat and the shaft sleeve (16) and check they are not damaged.
- Install properly the grinding cup (1) on the shaft sleeve (16), put the flat mat (15) and tight the fixing screw M8x35
(14).
- Before switching on the machine, check that the grinding cup is mounted correctly and that it can turn freely.
Connecting the dust hose (Fig 3)
CAUTION:
- Dust from materials such as lead-containing coatings and minerals can be harmful to health. Touching or
breathing-in the dust can cause allergic reactions and/or lead to respiratory infections of the user or bystanders.
- Materials containing asbestos may only be worked by specialists.
- Provide a good ventilation of the working place and prevent dust accumulation at the workplace.
- It is recommended to wear a P2 filter-class respirator. Observe the relevant regulations in your country for the
materials to be worked.
- Insert a vacuum hose (not provided) into the dust hose connector (11).
- Connect the vacuum hose to a vacuum cleaner; the vacuum cleaner must be approved for the extraction of
masonry dust.
Setting the backstop (Fig 4 & 5)
The backstop (2) can be adjusted from 1 to 5.5mm.
- Lose the 3 locking knobs (12) and rotate the backstop (2) to the desired milling depth.
- Tight the 3 locking knobs (12).
Sanding in corners (Fig 6)
Flush sanding of corners is possible after removing the backstop (2).
- Remove the 3 locking knobs (12) and take away the backstop (2).
- Remove the small dust cover (42) and the small brush (44) (see exploded diagram in section 10).
- When the work is done, reinstall the small dust cover with the small brush, set up the backstop and fix it with the 3
locking knobs.

Overload Protection

When overloaded, the motor comes to a stop.
Stop the machine for 3 to 5 minutes, and then cool down the motor for approx. 30 seconds at the highest no-load
speed.

Selecting the speed

This machine is equipped with a built-in electronic control circuit that can adjust and regulate the number of
rotations. Generally, you should use the higher speed for fast stock removal and the lower speed for more precise
control.
- Adjust the speed with the adjuster knob (7), depending upon the contents of operation: this can be done even
while the machine is running.
- The speed can be adjusted from the lowest speed 500rpm to full speed 3000rpm.
