Note: SCD110 uses BLE 4.2 "Just Works" connectivity. This technology cannot pre-
vent from Eavesdropping/Sniffi ng the connection, cloning the device or taking over
the connection, what can affect SCD data integrity.
To avoid the risk of the aforementioned attacks the user shall ensure that the envi-
ronment within the range of the BLE connection SCD is secure.
Disposal according to the WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU
The unit, accessories, and packaging should be sorted for envi-
ronmental-friendly recycling. Do not dispose of the device into
household or industrial waste! According to the European Guide-
line 2012/19/EU, electric and electronic devices that are no longer usable must
be collected separately and disposed of in an environmentally correct manner.

Hinweis: SCD110 verwendet die BLE 4.2 "Just Works"-Konnektivität. Diese Tech-
nologie kann nicht verhindern, dass die Verbindung abgehört/ausspioniert, das
Gerät geklont oder die Verbindung übernommen wird, was die Integrität der SCD-
Daten beeinträchtigen kann.

Connecting to the SCD
1. Start the SCD Sensor App. You will fi nd the SCD Sensor App in your
Apple App Store or Google Play free of charge.
2. Activate Bluetooth on your smartphone.
3. To activate the SCD, press the button on the device for 1 to 3 seconds.
4. To fi nd the visible SCDs in range, tap "Search for devices".
5. Choose the SCD and follow the instructions on your smartphone to
fi nalize pairing.
Confi guring the SCD
To confi gure your app, follow the steps shown in the app.
Notice Convention for Characters
Only certain characters can be used for an email address and the device name.
 The following characters are permitted: [A-Z][a-z][0-9][@.,;/\|+-*_]
The streaming function transmits sensor values at a fi xed rate to the app.
Values can be visualized and recorded in the "View" tab. To start streaming,
select the "Streaming" button.

Connexion au SCD

La fonction streaming transmet les valeurs de capteur à l'application à une
periode fi xe. Les valeurs peuvent être visualisées et enregistrées dans l'on-
glet "View". Pour lancer le streaming, appuyer sur le bouton "Streaming".
La fonction logging enregistre les données brutes dans la mémoire interne
SCD. Les données peuvent être transmises par la suite à l'application SCD.
pour confi gurer et lancer le logging, appuyer sur le bouton "Logging" de
l'application.
La fonction threshold visualise les valeurs en streaming ou logging et
déclenche une alarme sur BLE si les valeurs se situent en dehors d'une plage
défi nie. Pour confi gurer les seuils, aller à l'onglet "Thresholds".
Transmission de données
Connecter votre smartphone au SCD en utilisant l'application SCD. Pour
télécharger des données existantes dans le SCD, aller à l'onglet "Logging" et
appuyer sur "Download".

The logging function stores raw data in the SCD internal memory. Data can
be later transmitted to the SCD app. To confi gure and start logging, select the
"Logging" button in the app.
The threshold function monitors the streamed or logged values and triggers
alarms on BLE accordingly, if values are out of a defi ned range. To confi gure
the thresholds, go to the "Thresholds" tab.
Transferring data
Connect your smartphone with the SCD using the SCD app. To download
existing data in the SCD, go to the "Logging" tab and select "Download".
Notice Data transfer
 The downloading process may take several minutes. Logging is stopped
in order to proceed with the transfer.
Lithium battery!
Caution
The device contains a lithium battery. Handling the battery incorrectly could cause
a fi re.
 Read and follow the valid transportation regulations, if necessary.
Notice Forfeiting the warranty!
Opening the casing without authorization could present risks to the user and will
void any warranty.
 Do not open the housing.

Verbindung mit dem SCD

2. Aktivieren Sie auf Ihrem Smartphone Bluetooth.
3. Zur Aktivierung des SCD drücken Sie nun für 1 bis 3 Sekunden den
Button auf Ihrem Gerät.
4. Drücken Sie „Search for devices", um die sichtbaren SCD in Ihrer
Umgebung zu fi nden.
5. Wählen Sie den gewünschten SCD und folgen Sie den Anweisungen auf
Ihrem Smartphone um das Pairing abzuschließen.

Hinweis Erlaubte Zeichen
Für Mail-Adresse und Gerätename können nur bestimmte Zeichen verwendet werden.

Mit Hilfe der Streaming-Funktion werden die Sensorwerte in festgelegten
Zeitabständen an die App übermittelt. Die Werte können in der Registerkarte
„View" visualisiert und aufgezeichnet werden. Drücken Sie „Streaming", um
das Streaming zu starten.
Mit Hilfe der Logging-Funktion werden die Rohdaten auf dem internen Spei-
cher des SCD gespeichert. Die Daten können später an die SCD App über-
mittelt werden. Drücken Sie in der App auf „Logging", um die Funktion zu
konfi gurieren und den Protokolliervorgang zu beginnen.
Mit der Threshold-Funktion werden die gestreamten bzw. protokollierten
Werte überwacht und ein entsprechender Alarm auf dem BLE ausgelöst, wenn
die Werte nicht im defi nierten Bereich liegen. Konfi guriert werden die Schwel-
lenwerte auf der Registerkarte „Thresholds".
Datenübertragung
Verbinden Sie mit Hilfe der SCD App Ihr Smartphone mit dem SCD. Um die
im SCD gespeicherten Daten herunterzuladen, gehen Sie auf die Registerkarte
„Logging" und drücken Sie „Download".
Hinweis Datenübertragung
 Der Downloadvorgang kann einige Minuten dauern. Der Protokolliervor-
gang wird für die Datenübertragung angehalten.
Lithium-Batterie!
Vorsicht
Das Gerät enthält eine Lithium-Batterie. Unsachgemäße Behandlung kann zu einem
Brand führen.
 Beachten Sie gegebenenfalls die geltenden Transportvorschriften.
Garantieverlust!
Hinweis
Unbefugtes Öffnen des Gehäuses kann das Gerät beschädigen. Der Garantiean-
spruch, soweit vorhanden, erlischt.
 Öffnen Sie das Gehäuse nicht.
