Short Instructions
Weather Station Color Vision 14011
What you need to use the device:
Contents:
2 x AAA battery, 3 x AAA battery (optional for base station)
1x station
1x mains adapter
1x user instructions
Time:
The time is basically set automatically (atomic clock). Only carry out the
following steps if you consciously wish to set the time and date manually.
Press and hold [C/F/RCC] in normal time display mode.
Setting the alarm time:
Press [MODE] until the set alarm time is displayed. In this mode, press and
hold [MODE] until the alarm time flashes. Subsequently set the hours via
[ÀÛTÜ] and [ÀÛSÜ] and then press [MODE] in order to set the minutes.
Proceed as described above to set the minutes. Press [MODE] again in
order to set the snooze time in minutes and proceed as described above.
Press [MODE] to exit the procedure. When the alarm is displayed, press
[CHANNEL] to (de)activate the alarm. The alarm signal can be deactivated
by pressing any button on the rear. Press [SNOOZE/LIGHT] to activate
the (pre)set snooze function (Zz).
Celsius or Fahrenheit:
Press [C/F] to toggle between a temperature reading in Celsius and Fahrenheit.
Max/Min:
Press [MAX/MIN] to toggle between the display showing the current, the
highest and the lowest temperature.
Press and hold [MAX/MIN] to clear the memory.
Installing the (outside) transmitter:
Insert two AAA batteries into the transmitter and slide the channel switch
to [1]. If no temperature is displayed at the base station, press [ÀÛSÜ/
CHANNEL] on the base station for three seconds. The base station then
searches for transmitters. Press [ÀÛSÜ/CHANNEL] to toggle between the
channels. This may be necessary in the unlikely event of another
transmitter (wireless baby monitor, garage door opener...) being on one
of the other two channels.
The transmitter is weatherproof, but not waterproof. If possible, install it
in a protected position away from direct sunlight to avoid incorrect
measuring results.
Bar graph
The red bar illustrates the indoor temperature starting at 2°C, wherein a
displayed bar means the temperature is smaller than or equal to 2°C.
Each further illuminated red line equals an extra 2°C. For example, three
illuminated bars correspond to a temperature of 6°C. The blue bar
illustrates the indoor humidity starting at a relative humidity of 35%,
wherein a displayed bar means the relative humidity is smaller than or
equal to 35%. Each further illuminated blue line equals an extra 3%. For
example, three illuminated blue bars correspond to a relative humidity of
41%.
Weather icons
The device clearly displays the weather forecast via a weather icon
based on changes in the temperature and humidity. Since the device
does not contain a barometer, air pressure and altitude cannot be set.
The individual icons have the following meaning:
-
sunny
-
partly cloudy
-
cloudy
-
rainy
Humidity
The displayed humidity cannot and must not be calibrated.
