3 Einsatzmöglichkeiten und Zubehör
Die Tonsäule ETS-820TXS ist eine Kombination aus
Lautsprechersäule, Verstärker mit vier Eingangs-
kanälen und Empfangsteil für ein Funkmikrofon
(863,05 MHz) und dient zur Beschallung bei Veran-
staltungen, Vorträgen, Sport etc. Die Eingangs-
kanäle lassen sich folgendermaßen nutzen:
INPUT 1
für ein kabelgebundenes Mikrofon oder
für ein Audiogerät mit Line-Ausgang
(z. B. CD-Spieler, Kassettenrecorder)
INPUT 2
für ein kabelgebundenes Mikrofon oder
für ein Audiogerät mit Line-Ausgang
AUX
für ein Audiogerät mit Line-Ausgang
WIRELESS für ein Funkmikrofon

3.1 Zulassung
Die Zulassung für das Gerät ist nach der R + TTE-
Richtlinie (Radio and Telecommunication Technical
Equipment) in den Staaten der Europäischen Union
gültig. Die Zulassungsnummer ist in den techni-
schen Daten angegeben. Für den Betrieb in Staaten
außerhalb der EU fragen Sie bitte Ihren Fachhänd-
ler oder die MONACOR-Niederlassung des entspre-
chenden Landes.
3 Applications and Accessories
The audio column ETS-820TXS is a combination of
an audio column, an amplifier with four input chan-
nels, and a receiving part for a wireless microphone
(863.05 MHz) and serves for PA applications at
events, lectures, sports, etc. The input channels can
be used as follows:
INPUT 1
for a cable-connected microphone or
for an audio unit with line output (e. g.
CD player, cassette recorder)
INPUT 2
for a cable-connected microphone or
for an audio unit with line output
AUX
for an audio unit with line output
WIRELESS for a wireless microphone

uct range of MONACOR can e. g. be used with the
audio column ETS-820TXS:

3.1 Approval
According to the R + TTE regulation (Radio and Tele-
communication Technical Equipment) the approval
of the unit is valid in the countries of the European
Union. The approval number is indicated in the spec-
ifications. For the operation in countries outside the
EU, please contact your retailer or the MONACOR
subsidiary in the country where this system will be
operated.
In der Bundesrepublik Deutschland ist die Fre-
quenz 863,05 MHz für den Betrieb von drahtlosen
Audio-Übertragungssystemen freigegeben. Da diese
Frequenz in anderen Ländern der EU für diesen An-
wendungszweck möglicherweise nicht zur Verfü-
gung steht, informieren Sie sich bei Betrieb des
Gerätes außerhalb Deutschlands bitte bei Ihrem
Fachhändler oder bei der entsprechenden Behörde
des Landes.
4 Inbetriebnahme
4.1 Montage
Zur Montage werden zwei Montagewinkel sowie
passende Scheiben und Schrauben mitgeliefert. Die
Lautsprechersäule an geeigneter Stelle fachgerecht
befestigen. Dabei beachten, dass die Reichweite
eines Funkmikrofons maximal 30 m beträgt.

4.2 Anschlüsse herstellen

4.2.1 Antenne
Die beiliegende Antenne (14) in die Buchse ANT
TXS-820SX
(15) stecken und nach oben zeigend abwinkeln.

4.2.2 Mikrofone
Es können ein Funkmikrofon und zwei kabelgebun-
dene Mikrofone verwendet werden. Die kabelge-
bundenen Mikrofone über 6,3-mm-Klinkenstecker
an die Buchse INPUT 1 (8) und INPUT 2 (10) an-
schließen.
Soll für ein kabelgebundenes Mikrofon die Vor-
rangschaltung genutzt werden, dieses an die
Buchse INPUT 1 anschließen. Nur Signale über das
Funkmikrofon und über den Kanal INPUT 1 können
die Kanäle INPUT 2 und AUX stumm schalten.

quency of 863.05 MHz has been approved for the
operation of wireless audio transmission systems.
As it is possible that this frequency is not available for
this field of application in other countries of the EU,
please contact your retailer or the corresponding au-
thorities of the particular country when this system is
operated outside the Federal Republic of Germany.
4 Setting into Operation
4.1 Mounting
For mounting two mounting brackets and matching
discs and screws are supplied with the unit. Fix the
audio column at a suitable place in an expert way.
Pay attention that the range of the wireless micro-
phone is 30 m as a maximum.

4.2 Making the connections

4.2.1 Antenna
Connect the supplied antenna (14) to the jack ANT

(15) and put it in an upward position.
4.2.2 Microphones
It is possible to use a wireless microphone and two
cable-connected microphones. Connect the cable-
connected microphones via 6.3 mm plugs to the jack
INPUT 1 (8) and INPUT 2 (10).
To use the priority circuit for a cable-connected
microphone, connect the microphone to the jack
INPUT 1. Only signals via the wireless microphone
and via the channel INPUT 1 are capable of muting
the channels INPUT 2 and AUX.
4.2.3 Audiogeräte
Bis zu drei Audiogeräte mit Line-Ausgang, z. B. CD-
Spieler, Kassettenrecorder, lassen sich an die Ton-
säule anschließen. Vorrangig sollten dafür die
Kanäle INPUT 2 und AUX verwendet werden, weil
diese automatisch bei einer Mikrofondurchsage
stumm geschaltet werden können.

4.2.4 Aufnahmegerät
Für Tonaufnahmen ein Aufnahmegerät an den Aus-
gang REC OUT (11) anschließen. Der Ausgangs-
pegel ist unabhängig von der Einstellung des Reg-
lers MASTER (7).
4.2.5 Stromversorgung
Das Gerät kann über das 230-V-Netz versorgt wer-
den oder über eine 12-V-Gleichstromquelle.
1) Für den Netzbetrieb das beiliegende Netzkabel
zuerst in die Netzbuchse (19) stecken und dann
den Netzstecker in eine Steckdose (230 V~/
50 Hz).
2) Für den 12-V-Betrieb das Gerät über die Gleich-
strombuchse (17) mit der 12-V-Versorgung ver-
binden (Innenkontakt = Pluspol). Für den An-
schluss
an
einen
Zigarettenanzünder
beiliegende Verbindungskabel verwenden.
Vorsicht!
Geben Sie keine höhere Betriebsspannung als
12 V auf die Gleichstrombuchse. Das Gerät wird
sonst beschädigt.
4.2.3 Audio units
Up to three audio units with line output, e. g. CD
player, cassette recorder, can be connected to the
audio column. The use of channels INPUT 2 and
AUX should be given priority because they can auto-
matically be muted during a microphone announce-
ment.

4.2.4 Recording unit
For audio recordings connect a recording unit to the
output REC OUT (11). The output level is independ-
ent of the adjustment of the control MASTER (7).
4.2.5 Power supply
The unit can be supplied with power via the 230 V
mains or via a 12 V DC source.
1) For mains operation connect the supplied mains
cable to the mains jack (19) first and then connect
the mains plug to a mains socket (230 V~/50 Hz).
2) For the 12 V operation connect the unit via the
DC jack (17) to the 12 V power supply (inside
contact = positive pole). For the connection to a
cigarette lighter use the supplied connection
cable.
Attention!
Do not supply any operating voltage higher than
12 V to the DC jack. Otherwise the unit will be
damaged.
