STORING A PRESET IN MEMORY
See Figure 4, page 12.
The memory feature saves up to 20 frequencies as presets
in the stereo's memory. You can save 10 frequencies in FM
mode and 10 in AM mode.
To store a frequency in memory:
 Tune to the frequency you want to save.
 Press and hold the PRESET button. A memory location
number will blink on and off.
 Press the SCAN button to select a memory location.
 Press the PRESET button to store the frequency in the
selected memory location.
To recall a preset frequency:
 Press the PRESET button and quickly release to cycle
through stored frequencies.

AUXILIARY MODE

See Figure 5, page 13.
The portable stereo can be used as an amplifier for MP3
players, CD players, smartphones, tablets, and other music
devices.
To use the auxiliary mode:
 Push the MODE button to select the AUX mode.
 Connect the included auxiliary cable to the external
device.
 Connect the other end of the auxiliary cable to the AUX
IN port.
 The device tray may be used to store your external device.
NOTE: The device tray cannot secure external devices.
 The external device must be ON and in PLAY mode for
sound to be heard through the speakers.
 All external device controls can be used normally while
connected to the stereo.
NOTE: Volume for any device connected through the
auxiliary connector can be adjusted using the volume
control for that device and/or with the VOL UP or VOL
DOWN buttons on the stereo.
 Turning the stereo OFF will NOT turn the external device
OFF.
 The auxiliary cable DOES NOT provide charging function.
 For complete operating instructions for all external
devices, always refer to the manual that was included
with your model.
 The AUX OUT port is for connecting external speakers
only.
NOTE: Do not plug headphones into the AUX OUT port.
The volume for this port is set to maximum level and
cannot be lowered with the VOL DOWN button.
OPERATION
USB DEDICATED CHARGING PORT
See Figure 5 - 6, page 13.
The USB dedicated charging port provides charging power
of up to 2 Amps for your cell phone, MP3 player, tablet, or
other USB devices.
NOTICE:
Attempting to charge devices rated more than 2 Amps
could damage the USB dedicated charging port and/or
the device.
 Connect one end of a USB cable (not provided) to your
USB device.
 Connect the other end of the USB cable (not provided) to
the USB dedicated charging port to begin charging the
device.
NOTE: The USB dedicated charging port provides power
only; it does not provide any communication capabilities.
 When the stereo is operating on battery power, the USB
dedicated charging port will continue to function for
approximately 1 hour after turning the stereo OFF. If the
stereo remains inactive after this time, charging will stop.
Turn the stereo on to resume operation.
USING A BLUETOOTH
(NOT INCLUDED) WITH THE STEREO
See Figure 7, page 13.
 Press the MODE button until the BLUETOOTH
is highlighted.
 When the stereo is switched to BLUETOOTH
unit receives a BLUETOOTH
the LCD display.
NOTE: The stereo will automatically attempt to connect
to the last device it was paired to. If a connection cannot
be established within five seconds, the stereo will make
itself available to other BLUETOOTH
 Devices enabled for BLUETOOTH
the signal and set to search/scan in order to pair with the
stereo.
 Select "RYOBI STEREO" from your device's list of avail-
able BLUETOOTH
stereo. No password or PIN is required for connection.
 When the device has successfully paired with the stereo,
the time will appear on the LCD display.
NOTE: When a device is paired to the stereo, informa-
tion for connecting to the device is saved in the stereo's
memory.
 When streaming audio from a BLUETOOTH
device, press the SCAN left or SCAN right button to go
to the previous or next track. Briefly press and release the
PRESET button to cycle between pausing and playing
the audio.
