Problems with the photograph and/or video quality:
Night recordings (photographs and/or videos) are too dark:
• You will get the best results with the camera if the target to be recorded is in the ideal IR flash
area. We recommend max. 14 m distance between the camera and the object. If the object
is farther away, the recordings may grow darker because the IR flash grows weaker in the
distance.
• If you want to take more pictures than one per trigger or if the interval is too short, the pictures
may partially become darker. The IR flash may take too long to be fully functional depending
on the batteries.
Day recordings (photographs and/or videos) are too dark:
• Ensure that the camera is not pointing at the sun or other light sources during the day. This
could lead to darker images in connection with the automatic exposure.
Night recordings (photographs and/or videos) are too light:
• You will get the best results with the camera if the target to be recorded is in the ideal IR flash
area. We recommend at least 3 m distance between the camera and the object. If the object
is closer, the recordings may grow brighter because they are over-exposed.
Day recordings (photographs and/or videos) are too light:
• Ensure that the camera is not pointing at the sun or other light sources during the day. This
could lead to lighter images in connection with the automatic exposure.
The recordings are tinted (red, green or blue):
• Under certain light conditions, the camera sensor may be impaired. This may cause devia-
tions in the recordings in different colour areas and thus lead to a tint.
• If the colour tint covers the entire picture, contact our support. The camera probably is defec-
tive.
