Tip: If you have placed a weight on the
weighing platform already and now want
to weigh a new weight, you can press the
TARE button to set the display back to
"0.0". Only the weight of the second item is
displayed.
5. Press the ON/OFF button if the appliance is
not in use resp. after you have finished using
it to switch the appliance off. Place the trans-
parent cover back on the scale to protect it.
Note: The appliance switches off automati-
cally 60 seconds after the last use.
Explanation of the LCD display

If the scale is overloaded (more than 650 g),
"0_Ld" lights up in the display.
If the batteries are too weak, "Lo" lights up
in the display. In this case, switch the appli-
ance off with the ON/OFF button and change
the batteries.
If the scale has registered the weight of
the item, "hold" lights up in the upper left
corner of the display.
