4. INSTALLING THE
REINFORCEMENT
GUSSETS
a. Lay the gate assembly on a flat
surface and take the proper
precautions so the paint doesn't get
damaged. Use a framing or speed
square to make sure the assembly
is square.
b. Secure the left and right reinforcement
gussets on both bottom corners, on
each side of the gate by using six
no.8 x ¾" self drilling screws.

5. INSTALLING THE GATE
a. Determine in which direction the gate
should open. Measure 2" from the top
and bottom of the mounting post of
the gate ends assembly and mark
position. Align the hinges to the marks
and fasten the upper and lower hinges
to the mounting post. The hinges must
be places flush with the edge of the
post. The side that you attach them to
depends whether you want the gate to
open inwards or outwards.
b. Align the gate with the post and
secure the upper and lower hinges to
the post.
c. Measure 3-1/8" from the top of the
gate end assembly post and mark
position. Fasten the latch to the post
on the side in which direction the gate
opens. Fasten the latch plate to the
wall or post so that the latch easily
slides into position.

SUPPORTS DE
RENFORCEMENT
a. Étendre l'assemblage de la barrière sur
une surface plane et prenez les précautions
nécessaires afin que la peinture ne soit pas
endommagée. Utilisez une équerre pour
vous assurer que l'ensemble de la barrière
est au niveau.
b. Fixez solidement les supports de renfor-
cement gauche et droit aux deux coins,
de chaque côté de la barrière à l'aide de
six vis auto perceuses no.8 de ¾ po.
5. INSTALLATION DE LA
BARRIÈRE
a. Déterminez dans quelle direction la barrière
doit ouvrir. Mesurez 2 po du haut et du bas
du poteau de montage de l'assemblage
des extrémités de la barrière et marquez
la position. Alignez les charnières sur les
repères et fixez les charnières supérieure
et inférieure au poteau de montage.
Les charnières doivent être placées au ras
du bord du poteau. Le côté auquel vous
les fixez dépend de si vous souhaitez que
la barrière s'ouvre vers l'intérieur ou vers
l'extérieur.
b. Alignez la barrière avec le poteau et fixez
les charnières supérieure et inférieure au
poteau.
c. Mesurez 3-1/8 po du haut du poteau
d'extrémité de la barrière et marquez la
position. Fixez le verrou au poteau sur le
côté dans lequel la porte s'ouvre. Fixez la
plaque du verrou au mur ou au poteau pour
que le verrou glisse facilement en position.
