1. Consignes de sécurité
Tenir également compte des informations complémentaires de la fiche technique et du manuel d'utilisa-
tion téléchargeables à l'adresse phoenixcontact.net/products.
• L'appareil peut être installé dans des atmosphères explosibles de zone 2. Il répond aux exigences des
normes suivantes :
– EN 60079-0
– EN 60079-15
– Pour plus de détails, se reporter à la déclaration de conformité UE jointe et également disponible sur notre
site Web dans sa version la plus récente.
• L'installation, l'utilisation et la maintenance doivent être confiées à un personnel spécialisé dûment qualifié
en électrotechnique. Respecter les instructions d'installation.
• Lors de la mise en place et de l'exploitation, respecter les dispositions et les normes de sécurité en vigueur
(ainsi que les normes de sécurité nationales), et les règles relatives à la technique généralement reconnues.
Les caractéristiques relatives à la technique de sécurité se trouvent dans ces instructions et dans les certi-
ficats joints (déclaration du fabricant, autres homologations éventuelles).
• L'ouverture ou la transformation de l'appareil ne sont pas admissibles. Ne procédez à aucune réparation sur
l'appareil, mais remplacez-le par un appareil équivalent. Seul le fabricant est autorisé à effectuer des répa-
rations sur l'appareil. Le fabricant n'est pas responsable des dommages résultant d'infractions à cette règle.
• L'indice de protection IP20 (CEI 60529/EN 60529) de l'appareil est valable dans un environnement propre
et sec. Ne pas soumettre l'appareil à des sollicitations mécaniques et/ou thermiques dépassant les limites
décrites.
• L'appareil n'est pas conçu pour être utilisé dans des atmosphères dangereuses (poussière).
• L'appareil doit être mis hors service et retiré immédiatement de la zone Ex s'il est endommagé ou s'il a été
soumis à des charges ou stocké de façon non conforme, ou s'il présente un dysfonctionnement.
• Les parafoudres dévient des perturbations <500 V pouvant apparaître entre la borne de signal et la terre

fonctionnelle (FE).
• Entre le blindage et la mise à la terre fonctionnelle, il existe une impédance ≤1 Ω / U
• Retirer les connecteurs de l'alimentation en tension et de la ligne de signal avant de procéder à la mesure
de l'isolement. Des erreurs de mesure sont possibles si cette opération est omise. Remettre les connec-
teurs en place une fois la mesure d'isolation effectuée.
• L'appareil doit être monté en zone 2, debout et vertical.
1.1 Installation en zone 2
• En cas d'installation en zone 2, les appareils doivent être montés dans un boîtier adéquat qui est conforme
aux exigences de la norme EN 60079-15 (minimum IP54) ou d'une autre protection antidéflagrante confor-
mément à la norme EN 60079-0, section 1.
• Seuls les appareils destinés à être utilisés dans la zone Ex 2 et conçus pour être utilisés dans les conditions
régnant sur le lieu d'installation peuvent être raccordés à des circuits électriques situés en zone 2.
• Le raccordement et le débranchement des câbles en atmosphère explosible sont autorisés uniquement
lorsque les câbles sont hors tension ou lorsque l'absence d'atmosphère explosible a été garantie.
• Les connexions verrouillables doivent disposer d'un verrou opérationnel (par ex. un crochet, un raccorde-
ment vissé, etc.) pour garantir leur fonctionnement en toute sécurité. Mettre le verrou en place. Réparer im-
médiatement les connecteurs endommagés.
• Installer une protection contre les transitoires qui limitera les tensions perturbatrices de façon à ce qu'elles
représentent au maximum 140 % de la tension de référence.

2. Brève description ( - )
L'appareil est un panneau de distribution Ethernet destiné au montage sur profilé. Il représente la transition
entre le câblage de terrain et le câblage interne de l'armoire électrique.
La connexion du panneau de distribution à l'équipement terminal est assurée à l'aide d'un câble de distribution
prééquipé, via le connecteur femelle RJ45 (CAT 5e).

3. Montage et démontage ( - )
AVERTISSEMENT : risque d'explosion en cas d'utilisation en atmosphères explosibles
Ne monter et ne démonter l'appareil que lorsqu'il est hors tension.
L'appareil est prévu pour être installé dans l'armoire électrique.
• Raccorder un profilé EN de 35 mm à la terre de protection via un module de mise à la terre. Mettre l'appareil
à la terre en l'encliquetant sur le profilé.
• Encliqueter l'appareil sur le profilé.
4. Interface RJ45
ATTENTION : interférences
Utiliser uniquement des câbles à paires torsadées blindés et les connecteurs RJ45 blindés correspon-
dants.
• L'interface Ethernet RJ45 peut accueillir uniquement des câbles à paires torsadées d'une impédance de
100 Ω.
• Enficher le câble Ethernet avec le connecteur RJ45 dans l'interface TP jusqu'à ce que l'encliquetage soit
audible. Tenir compte du détrompage du connecteur.

• The device can be installed in zone 2 potentially explosive areas. It satisfies the demands of the following
standards:
– EN 60079-0
– EN 60079-15
– Comprehensive details are to be found in the EU Declaration of Conformity which is enclosed and also avail-
able on our website in the latest version.
• Installation, operation, and maintenance may only be carried out by qualified electricians. Follow the instal-
lation instructions as described.
• When installing and operating the device, the applicable regulations and safety directives (including nation-
al safety directives), as well as the generally recognized codes of practice must be observed. The safety-
relevant data is included in this packing slip and on the certificates (manufacturer's declaration, additional
approvals where applicable).
• The device must not be opened or modified. Do not repair the device yourself, replace it with an equivalent
device. Repairs may only be carried out by the manufacturer. The manufacturer is not liable for damage re-
sulting from violation.
• The IP20 protection (IEC 60529/EN 60529) of the device is intended for use in a clean and dry environment.
The device must not be subject to mechanical strain and/or thermal loads, which exceed the limits de-
scribed.
• The device is not designed for use in atmospheres with a danger of dust explosions.
• The device must be stopped and immediately removed from the Ex area if it is damaged, was subject to an
impermissible load, stored incorrectly or if it malfunctions.
• The surge protective devices discharge disturbances of <500 V

• Before measuring the insulation, disconnect the plugs for the power supply and the signal line. Otherwise,
incorrect test results are possible. Reinsert the plugs once the insulation measurement has been complet-
ed.
• The device must be installed upright in Zone 2.
1.1 Installation in Zone 2
• When installing in zone 2, the devices must be built into a suitable housing that satisfies the demands of
EN 60079-15 (at least IP54) or a different type of protection in accordance with EN 60079-0, section 1.
• Only devices that are designed for operation in Ex Zone 2 and the conditions at the installation location may
be connected to the circuits in Zone 2.
• Connecting and disconnecting cables in the potentially explosive area is only permissible in a de-energized
state or when it has been ensured that an explosive atmosphere is not present.
• For safe operation, lockable plug connections must have a functional interlock (e. g. locking clip, screw con-
nection etc.). Insert the interlock. Repair any damaged connectors immediately.
• Use a transient protection system which limits the interference voltage to a maximum of 140% of the rated
voltage.

2. Short description ( - )
The device is an Ethernet patch panel for DIN rail mounting. It represents the transition of the field cabling to
the internal control cabinet cabling.
The connection from the patch panel to the end device is ensured with a prefabricated patch cable via the RJ45
socket (CAT5e).

3. Mounting and removing ( - )
WARNING: Explosion hazard when used in potentially explosive areas
Only mount or remove the device when disconnected from the voltage!
The device is intended for installation in a control cabinet.
• Connect a 35 mm EN DIN rail to the protective earth via a grounding terminal block. The device is grounded
by snapping it onto the DIN rail.
• Snap the device onto the DIN rail.
4. RJ45 interface
NOTE: Interference
Only use shielded twisted pair cables and corresponding shielded RJ45 connectors.
• Only twisted pair cables with an impedance of 100 Ω can be connected to the RJ45 Ethernet interface.
• Insert the Ethernet cable with the RJ45 plug into the TP interface until the plug engages audibly. Observe
the plug keying.

• Die Installation, Bedienung und Wartung ist von elektrotechnisch qualifiziertem Fachpersonal durchzufüh-
ren. Befolgen Sie die beschriebenen Installationsanweisungen.
• Halten Sie die für das Errichten und Betreiben geltenden Bestimmungen und Sicherheitsvorschriften (auch
nationale Sicherheitsvorschriften) sowie die allgemein anerkannten Regeln der Technik ein. Die
sicherheitstechnischen Daten sind dieser Packungsbeilage und den Zertifikaten (Herstellererklärung, ggf.

1.1 Installation in der Zone 2
• Bei Installation in Zone 2 müssen die Geräte in ein geeignetes Gehäuse eingebaut werden, das den Anfor-
derungen an die EN 60079-15 (mindestens IP54) oder einer anderen Zündschutzart entsprechend
EN 60079-0, Abschnitt 1 genügt.
• An Stromkreise in der Zone 2 dürfen nur Geräte angeschlossen werden, die für den Betrieb in der
Ex-Zone 2 und die am Einsatzort vorliegenden Bedingungen geeignet sind.
• Das Anschließen und das Trennen von Leitungen im explosionsgefährdeten Bereich ist nur im spannungs-
losen Zustand zulässig oder wenn sichergestellt ist, dass keine explosionsfähige Atmosphäre vorhanden
ist.
• Für den sicheren Betrieb müssen verriegelbare Steckverbindungen eine funktionsfähige Verriegelung (z. B.
Rasthaken, Verschraubung etc.) aufweisen. Setzen Sie die Verriegelung ein. Setzen Sie beschädigte Ste-
cker unverzüglich instand.
• Setzen Sie einen Transientenschutz ein, der Störspannungen auf unter maximal 140% der Bemessungs-
spannung begrenzt.

2. Kurzbeschreibung ( - )
Das Gerät ist ein Ethernet-Patch-Panel zur Tragschienenmontage. Es stellt den Übergang der Feldverkabe-
lung zur schaltschrankinternen Verkabelung dar. Die Verbindung vom Patch-Panel zum Endgerät wird mit
einem vorgefertigten Patch-Kabel über die RJ45-Buchse (CAT5e) sichergestellt.

3. Montage und Demontage ( - )
WARNUNG: Explosionsgefahr beim Einsatz im explosionsgefährdeten Bereich
Montieren oder demontieren Sie das Gerät nur im spannungsfreien Zustand!
Das Gerät ist für die Installation im Schaltschrank vorgesehen.
• Verbinden Sie eine 35-mm-EN-Tragschiene über eine Erdungsklemme mit der Schutzerde. Das Gerät wird
mit dem Aufrasten auf die Tragschiene geerdet.
• Rasten Sie das Gerät auf die Tragschiene auf.
4. RJ45-Schnittstelle
ACHTUNG: Störeinflüsse
Verwenden Sie ausschließlich abgeschirmte Twisted-Pair-Kabel und passende abgeschirmte RJ45-
Stecker.
• An die RJ45-Ethernet-Schnittstelle können Sie ausschließlich Twisted-Pair-Leitungen mit einer Impedanz
von 100 Ω anschließen.
• Stecken Sie die Ethernet-Leitung mit dem RJ45-Stecker in die TP-Schnittstelle, bis der Stecker hörbar ver-
rastet. Achten Sie dabei auf die Kodierung des Steckers.
