The ICE Wi-Fi thermostat manages the temperature of the room where it is installed. The
temperature is regulated by commanding the heating/cooling solenoid valve via the local
relay. The device can manage two-way (common logic) heating/cooling systems as it
has a single output relay.
The thermostat can work in "chrono" (automatic) mode, autonomously managing the
temperature adjustment system on the basis of the programmed time profile. The time
profiles are defined on a weekly basis: an independent hourly profile can be programmed
for each day of the week, with a 30 minute resolution and without any limit to the daily
variations. The time profile must be programmed via the relative App for mobile devices,
using the Android or iOS operating system (available on the relative stores).
The setpoint values used by the thermostat are stored in the device, and can be modified
via the local menu or from a remote location (using the relative App).
The thermostat offers:
• 2 types of operation: heating and cooling with independent control algorithms
• 5 operating modes: OFF (anti-freeze / high temperature protection), Economy, Pre-
comfort, Comfort and Automatic
• 4 heating adjustment temperatures (Teconomy, Tpre-comfort, Tcomfort, Tantigelo
(Tanti-freeze)
• 4 cooling adjustment temperatures (Teconomy, Tprecomfort, Tcomfort,
Tprotection_high_temperatures)
• 2 types of control: HVAC or Setpoint
• control algorithms for 2-way systems: 2 ON/OFF points or PI proportional with PWM
control
• 1 relay output with NO/NC contact, that can be used by the thermostat to command
the heating/cooling solenoid valve
• 1 input for a potential-free contact (for the window contact function)
• 1 input for NTC external temperature sensor (e.g. protection sensor for underfloor
heating)
The thermostat is equipped with a white LED backlit display with sensitive rear-projected
areas on a glass plate. The device requires an external 12-24V AC/DC power supply. It
has a built-in sensor for measuring the room temperature, and a proximity sensor for
activating the back-lighting when the user approaches it. There is also a Wi-Fi module
for remote control via the relative App.
