any other way may result in hazardous exposure
to laser radiation.
Never open laser module.
When the tool is not going to be used for an
extended period of time, the batteries should be
removed.

5. Operation
Inserting and changing batteries (Fig. 3)
Important! Always make sure that the laser is
switched off before you insert the batteries!
Open the battery compartment cover (12) as shown
in Fig. 3 and insert the batteries supplied. Check that
the battery terminals are positioned correctly.
Use only alkaline-manganese batteries. Do not mix
batteries from different manufacturers. Use batteries
with the same capacity.
Make sure that you replace the batteries in good time
otherwise there is a risk of inaccurate measurement
results.
Switching ON/OFF (Fig. 1)
To switch the device on, press the ON/OFF button
(4). The display shows the ambient temperature in
°C or F (Fahrenheit). If you press the ON/OFF button
(4) again, this switches the device off again.
Whenever the device is not used for longer than 0,5
minutes it switches itself off automatically.
Meters/feet conversion (Fig. 1)
The measurements are made in meters and
centimeters. If you press the conversion button (10)
the results of the length measurement are converted
into feet and inches. The same applies to the
temperature, which is converted from °C into
Fahrenheit F. The selected setting then remains
saved even after the device has been switched off.
Measurement mode (Fig. 1/5 - 10)
