Button lock

Once the pump has been set, you have the option of activating a button lock. This prevents
the pump from being adjusted unintentionally. To activate the button lock, press and hold the
Display HE Pumpen
button until all LEDs flash (approx. 20 sec.). One yellow LED will flash after approx. 3 seconds.
After a further approx. 5 seconds, the green LEDs will illuminate as a chase. After a further
approx. 5 seconds, all yellow LEDs will flash. After a further approx. 7 seconds, all LEDs will
flash. This indicates that the button lock is activated. To deactivate the button lock, press
and hold the button until all LEDs flash (approx. 20 sec.).

8 PWM Function

This function allows you to control the speed of the pump using an external controller. The
pump must be fitted with a PWM module to enable this function. If this module is present, the
pump also has a two-pin connection lead that lets you connect a suitable external controller.
There is no need to note the polarity of the lead. You can choose from two different PWM ope-
rating modes. To switch on, press and hold the button until the three yellow LEDs flash (approx.
13 sec.). One yellow LED will flash after approx. 3 seconds. After a further approx. 5 seconds,
the green LEDs will illuminate as a chase. After a further approx. 5 seconds, the yellow LEDs will
flash. If the button is now released, the first green LED will flash (mode 1). By briefly pressing
the button, you can now switch between the two PWM modes. To exit PWM mode, press and
hold the button for approx. 13 - 20 seconds.
The necessary PWM signal must correspond with the following requirements:
Example of an 40% PWM Signal:
T = 1 ms (1 kHz)
t = 0.4 ms
PWM % = 100 * t / T
PWM % = 100 * 0.4 / 1 = 40 %
Frequencies between 100 Hz and 1 kHz are permitted for T.
