Double Platinum Electrodes
The M231Pt2 and M241Pt-8 are Double Platinum Electrodes ideal
for Karl Fischer titrations and other imposed current potentiometric
titrations.
Preparing for measurement
1. Remove the protection cap from the electrode.
2. Before starting a measurement, rinse the electrode with a
suitable solvent.
3. Check that the electrode body is not damaged.
Cleaning and maintenance
Platinum wires
The sensing part of the electrode can be polished with finishing
abrasive bands, part no. B90X550. While polishing, take great
care not to bend the platinum wires.
In order to have reproducible and accurate results with the elec-
trode, treatments are required. These treatments will depend on
the last measurement performed:
Mild Cleaning
• Place the electrode overnight in RENOVO•N Normal Cleaning
Solution.
