Rescue® 5000 and 6000
Power Pack Warranty
The Manufacturer warrants this product against
defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year
from the date of original retail purchase. Quick Cable
will, at its option, repair or replace defective units.
Quick Cable encourages you to register your product
at www.quickcable.com/register and to retain your
original sales receipt with this manual for warranty
purposes.
This warranty does not apply to the user-installed
battery.
Damage caused by misuse or improper connections,
failure to follow prescribed operating instructions,
impact damage, or negligence is not covered by
this warranty. The manufacturer reserves the right
to inspect units for improper use in determining
warranty coverage.
EXCEPT FOR THIS LIMITED WARRANTY,
THE MANUFACTURER HAS NOT MADE AND
SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTY OR
REPRESENTATION OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, DIRECT OR INDIRECT, INCLUDING BUT
NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTABILITY, AND ANY
IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THIS LIMITED,
CONDITIONAL WARRANTY PROVIDES THE
EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ANY CLAIM OR
DAMAGE EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE REQUIRED
BY LAW.
This warranty excludes and does not cover defects
or failures of your PORTABLE POWER PACK
due to any cause other than defects in material
or workmanship, including without limitation any
malfunctions or failures caused by repairs made by
an unauthorized person, mishandling, modifications,
normal wear, improper storage and unreasonable
use or damage.
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE MANUFACTURER BE
LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL
DAMAGES. Some states do not allow the exclusion
or limitation of incidental or consequential damages
so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply
to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights
and you may also have other rights which vary from
state to state.
Any claim relating to the Portable Power Pack must
be submitted within one (1) year of purchase and
must be sent to Quick Cable in the U.S.A or Canada.
If any portion of this warranty or limitation of rights
and remedies is found to be unenforceable, then the
remainder of this document shall remain in full force
and effect.

Los productos RESCUE® 5000 y 6000 son unidades de alimentación portátiles estilo carrito que
utilizan conexiones de selección de voltaje en la parte frontal de la unidad, el operador puede
elegir si la salida es de 12V o 24V.

Una vez efectuada la conexión a la parte frontal de la unidad, las
abrazaderas se calientan.
¬
Conecte el cargador de CA durante un periodo de 24 horas antes del primer uso.
Use su unidad Rescue® de forma segura
¬
Desconecte el selector de voltaje en la parte frontal de la unidad cuando no la use.
¬
No utilice unidad de alimentación portátil si hay alguna abrazadera o cable dañados.
No cause un corto circuito en la unidad.
¬
Guarde siempre los cables en su posición original y guarde las abrazaderas de forma

adecuada.
¬
Si su Unidad de Alimentación Portátil necesita mantenimiento, siga las instrucciones en
la sección de la garantía.
¬
No intente reparar la unidad o sustituir piezas. Las reparaciones no autorizadas dejarán
sin efecto su garantía.
Verifique las terminales de las baterías del vehículo antes de usar la unidad de

alimentación; límpielas si es necesario.
¬
Después de aproximadamente 10 segundos de arranque continuo, si el vehículo
desactivado no puede arrancar, detenga el proceso y espere un minuto; esto evitará que
su unidad de alimentación se dañe y que se desmonte el sistema de su vehículo.
No se necesita ni recomienda el uso de lubricantes.

Evite guardar la unidad bajo la luz directa del sol, en lugares con calor o frío extremos o
en sitios muy húmedos.

Las conexiones incorrectas o las conexiones realizadas con voltaje incompati-
ble pueden dañar el vehículo o la Unidad de Alimentación Portátil.

Asegúrese de que los sistemas de 12V estén conectados solamente a uni-
dades de alimentación de 12V, y que los sistemas de 24V estén conectados
solamente a unidades de alimentación de 24V.
