WARRANTY SERVICE
Many thanks for purchasing this GENIE product. If the device does not function correctly as
expected, please note the following:
The warranty period lasts 24 months from the date of purchase, if the device has been used
properly. Please retain your proof of purchase and the original packaging. The warranty only
covers claims for material and manufacturing defects - not damage to fragile components, e.g.
to the housing. Devices that have been damaged on the outside are not eligible for exchange.
The warranty will not apply if repairs have been carried out without the express agreement of
our customer service.
Warranty repairs can only be performed if the proof of purchase is enclosed – please notify
us by telephone of any returns! Only returns that have sufficient amount of postage and
which also include a corresponding return number will be accepted. Please provide your name,
street, postcode, town/city, telephone number with area code, as well as the reason for your
return.

Declaration of conformity of the safety level in accordance with DIN 66399-2
We declare that this device satisfies the requirements of safety level P-2 in accordance with DIN
66399-2 for the shredding of documents.
Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE)
The symbol with a cross through a refuse container indicates that the device must not
be disposed of in household waste but must be handed in to a collection centre
equipped for proper recycling or disposal.
We declare that this device has been manufactured in accordance with the
applicable rules and regulations.
