Use
• Release hand lever 1 by turning locking knob 2 in position
ON.
• Hold handle 1 fully open and press down the retaining pawl
3. It is now possible to turn the pivoted blade 4 as required.
• Insert the wire rope and turn the pivoted blade 4 until the
edge of the blade rests on the cable. Do not cut angularly!
• Squeeze the handles to manually operate the pivoted blade
4 during the cutting process.
• Releasing the pivoted blade 4 is possible during cutting
proceeding as follows: Open handles 1 until the block, keep
the retaining pawl 3 pressed. Turn back the pivoted blade 4.
In some cases release the retaining pawl 3 by a blow (with
an plastic hammer) on the pivoted blade 4 (see point x).
• Lock lever 1 by turning the locking knob 2 in position OFF
during squeezing both handles.
Maintenance
• Oil movable parts.
• Brush ratchet teeth.
