INSERTING THE BATTERIES

Caution! The wires which connect the
batteries to the battery charger must
never be short circuited, this could
damage the batteries and in the worst
case could cause burns (if the contact is
made to metal parts which are touching
the skin).
• Connect the two batteries in series (fig.4.
Det. "D").
Attention: depending on the make of
battery used the positive and negative
poles "+" and "-" could be positioned
differently.
• Insert the batteries into the slots by
slightly bending the holding tabs "E"
upwards. Make sure that the fastons
remain visible after the insertion of the
batteries (towards the outside).
PREPARING THE WIRES
Attention! Make sure that the transformer
primary wire is disconnected.

• Cut the four wires "F", coming from the

transformer, near the fastons (fig. 5 det.
"G"):

- For PRG851: grey/grey (0-24Vac)
pink/red
- For PRG852: grey/grey (0-24Vac)
red/red (0-20Vac)
then strip the ends (fig. 5 det. "H").
• The faston of the fifth wire "secondary
2" (brown, 15V: for PRG851) or the fas-
tons of the two brown wires (0-15V: for
PRG852) coming from the transformer
must not be cut. They must be con-
nected directly to the transformer.
