4.2 Front panel

1. POWER SWITCH
Press this button to start operation.
2. DISC TRAY
To enter the disc. Please refer to the explanations under 6.2 CD tray.
3. OPEN/CLOSE BUTTON
Via the Open/Close-button, you can open and close the CD tray. This button is disabled in play mode.
4. TRACK BUTTONS
Via the Track-buttons, you can select the desired track. Please refer to the explanations under 6.5 Selecting
a track via the Track-buttons.
5. +10 BUTTON
By pressing the +10 button, the CD player jumps 10-stepwise from track number to track number (e. g. 06,
16, 26, 06).
6. PITCH CONTROL
You can adjust the desired speed with the Pitch control after pressing the Pitch button. The display shows
the current percentage. If the Pitch button is not pressed, any adjustment on the Pitch control will have no
effect.
7. CUE LEVEL CONTROL
With the Cue Level control, you can adjust the phones volume without changing the output signal.
8. MASTER LEVEL CONTROL
Adjusts the level of the master output.
9. PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON
With the Play/Pause button, you can start the playback and stop it again. Please refer to the explanations
under 6.4 Play/Pause.
10. CUE BUTTON
If you press the Cue button during playback, the player returns to the track start or the Cue point and goes
into Pause mode. Please refer to the explanations under 6.7 Cueing.
11. TIME BUTTON
The display can be switched from track remain time (Remain) to track playback time (Elapsed). During
playback of a track or a program, the display shows the track remain time (Remain). Press this button once
and the display shows the track playback time (Elapsed).
12. PROGRAM BUTTON
With the Program button, up to 20 tracks can be programmed.
13. SGL BUTTON
For choosing single playback or continuous play. The indication "SINGLE" means that the CD player is in
Single-mode. The current track is then played once and the player goes into pause mode at the beginning of
the next track. By pressing the SGL-button again, the CD player changes back to normal playback mode i.e.
after the current track is played, the player remains in playback-mode.
14. REPEAT-BUTTON
For repeating the track or CD.
