Power connector cable
Please use only power connector cables, which
are not damaged. The power connector cable
should not be of any desirable length (max.
50m), because otherwise the performance of the
electric motor is reduced. The power connector
cable must have a cross-section of 3 x 1.5 mm.
insulation damages occur especially often on
power connector cables of lawnmowers.
Reasons for this are as follows:
• Interfaces by the traversing of the line.
• Crush- points when the power connector cable
gets under doors and windows.
• Cracks due to ageing of the insulation.
• Bended points due to improper mounting or
the conduction of the power connector cable.
The power connector cables must be at least of
the type H05RN-F and 3-core. A printout of the
type designation on the power connector cable
is mandatory.
Buy only power connector cable with labelling!
The plug and coupling sockets attached to the
power connector cable must be made of rubber
and must be protected against splashing water.
The power connector cables may not be of any
desired length. Extended power connector cables
require larger conductor cross-sections.
Power connector cables and connection lines
must be regularly checked for damage. Make
sure that the cables are disconnected during the
test.
Uncoil the power connector cable fully. Also
check the power connector cable entries, at the
plugs and coupling sockets, for kinks.
6. Operation
Connect the power plug (Image 1/Item 8) with
an extension cable. The extension cable must be
secured with the cable strain relief, as shown in
Image 10.
Caution!
In order to prevent an unintentional switch-on,
the lawnmowers are provided with a power on
lock (Image 10/ Pos A), which has to be pressed,
before the switch bracket (Image 10 / Item B)
can be activated. If the switch bracket is released,
the lawnmower is switched off. Carry out this
procedure a few times so that you are sure that
your device is working correctly.
Before you carry out repair or maintenance
work on the device, you must make sure that
the blade does not rotate and that the device is
disconnected from the power supply.
Warning! Never open the grass ejection-flap
when the grass catcher device is emptied out
and the engine is still running. Circular blade can
cause injury.
Attach the grass ejection flap or the grass catcher
basket carefully always. When removing, switch
off the engine beforehand.
The safety distance given by the guide rails
between the blade casing and the user, has
to be maintained always. When mowing and
changing direction on embankments and slopes,
particular care is required. Pay attention to a
secure positioning, wear shoes with non- slip,
anti-skidding soles and long pants.
Always mow across the slope. Slopes over 15
degrees slope should not be mowed with the
lawn mower for security reasons.
Exercise special care when moving backwards
and when pulling the lawn mower.
Risk of tripping!
Tips on correct mowing While mowing, an
overlapping working method is recommended.
Cut only with sharp, perfect blades, so that the
blades of grass do not get frayed and the lawn
does not become yellow.
In order to get a clean cut image, guide the lawn
mower in a path, which is as straight as possible.
While doing so, these paths should always
