CONNECTING THE WATER OUTLET PIPE
Use a suitable hose, gasket and clamp. A short hose with a large diameter is best. A long hose with a small diameter
will increase the resistance of the current and reduce the power output of the water pump.
NOTE: Adjust the hose clamp to prevent it from coming loose with pressure.
ENGINE OIL CHECK
1.
Remove the cap/dipstick from the oil tank and clean it.
2.
Insert the cap/dipstick into the opening of the oil reservoir, but do not
screw.
3.
If the level is low, fill the oil tank with oil to the recommended top.
ATTENTION: The quality of the engine oil is one of the key factors in determining performance of
the engine and its useful life. Do not use dirty motor oil or vegetable oil. Make sure to check the
engine oil level with the engine stopped, upright and on a flat surface. Use oil for 4-stroke gasoline
engines or an oil equivalent in quality with SF, API SG.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONSIDERATIONS

Altitude: If the engine is used at altitudes of 1500m, adjustments to the carburettor may be required. This is
because there is less oxygen in the air as the altitude increases, which effectively "enriches" the proportion of
fuel to the air entering the engine and the higher the altitude, the richer the fuel mixture will be. If the engine is
operated permanently at high altitude, it is recommended that an authorized technical centre make the necessary
adjustments to the carburettor. If the engine is occasionally used at altitude (not at extreme altitudes), no
adjustments will be required, however, it is expected that there will be a slight decrease in engine performance.
Temperature: If the engine is used in extremely cold or hot environments, such as in a desert or snow, it may
be necessary to change the type of engine oil to suit ambient temperatures. The oil thickens as the temperature
decreases and dilutes as the temperature increases, which means that if the engine oil is not suitable for the
temperature, its ability to properly lubricate the engine can be affected. Use the following table to determine
the correct engine oil:
ATTENTION: Running the engine with insufficient oil can cause serious damage to the engine.
FUEL
1.
Remove the fuel level control sieve.
2.
Fill the tank if the fuel level is low. Do not fill above the
indicated MAX mark.
