Installation and operation
◾ Select the Configuration tab in the right-hand area of the screen.
◾ Click the New button in the List of Wireless Devices group box.

◾ Select the "Locks" type in the "Wireless Device type" dropdown list in the "Create new Wireless
Device" dialogue.
A Wireless Device is created on which up to eight radio comfort handles can be registered.
Registering a radio comfort handle on the Wireless Device
◾ Select the "Wireless Devices" entry in the navigation area of the base system web site.
◾ Select the Monitoring tab in the right-hand area of the screen.
◾ Select the "Command" parameter below the "Wireless Locks" entry and the "Lock Control" entry,
and activate "Registration" mode.
The status of the Wireless Device changes to "Warning" (yellow).
◾ Switch to programming mode on the radio comfort handle that you want to register.
◾ If the radio handle was previously registered on a Wireless Unit that should now be coupled with a
different Wireless Unit: if activated, deactivate in programming mode the EnOcean radio communi-
cation on the radio comfort handle, and (re)activate it.
This registers the radio comfort handle at the first free position of the Wireless Device. If the regis-
tration was performed successfully, the status of the comfort handle changes from "n.a." to "OK".
◾ Deactivate "Registration" mode by finally activating "Normal mode" below the "Wireless Locks"
entry and the "Lock Control" entry in the "Command" parameter.
5.4 Deregistering a radio comfort handle from the Wireless Device
A radio comfort handle is deregistered from the Wireless Unit via the base system web site.
◾ Select the "Wireless Devices" entry in the navigation area of the screen.
◾ Select the Monitoring tab in the right-hand area of the screen.
◾ Select the "Command" parameter below the "Wireless Locks" entry and the "Lock Control" entry,
and activate "Deregistration" mode.
The status of the Wireless Device changes to "Warning" (yellow).
◾ Switch to programming mode on the radio comfort handle that you want deregister.
◾ Deactivate in programming mode the EnOcean radio communication on the radio comfort handle.
This deregisters the radio comfort handle from the base system; the free position in the Wireless
Device is released. If the deregistration was performed successfully, the status of the position
where the comfort handle was registered changes from "OK" to "n.a.".
◾ Deactivate "Deregistration" mode by finally activating "Normal" mode" below the "Wireless Locks"
entry and the "Lock Control" entry in the "Command" parameter.
Note:
If only the radio communication on a radio comfort handle is deactivated without de-
registering the handle on the Wireless Unit, it can take quite some time until the status
change is displayed on the base system web site. The information shown on the web
site during this period does not indicate the actual status of the handle.
5.5 Settings
Wireless Unit
The following parameters can be set or viewed at the base system web site:
– DescName: Specific description of the Wireless Unit for unique identification.
– EnOceanUID: Unique, 8-character UID of the Wireless Unit EnOcean chip.
– Send-Value: The number of EnOcean data records sent from the Wireless Unit.
– Recv-Value: The number of EnOcean data records received by the Wireless Unit.
