7.2. Setting the alarmvalues

The alarmlevels must be enabled in the vetus.ini file. Otherwise the toolbar alarm enable
/ disable will not function. Individual settings for the windspeed and winddirection are
possible. The vetus.ini file is located in the directory in which the program was installed
(default C:\Program\Files\Vetus\Weatherstation).
Open the vetus.ini file with a text editor and go to the [interpreter] field.

Change only the three values in bold italic typeface. The values are defined as follows:
1 value: Toggles alarm on (=1) and off (=0).

2 value: Minimum alarmlevel (270° and 5 m/s in the example)

3 value: Maximum alarmlevel (200° and 10 m/s in the example)

In case of the winddirection always think in the CW direction otherwise the wrong para-
meters will be set.
Note: Be sure to make a backup copy of the .ini file in case the original file becomes
corrupted!
