Cleaning
Outer surfaces of the Flo-Pod™ turbo unit
and battery pack can be wiped with a sponge
or cloth using a mild solution of warm water
(temperature not
detergent. When cleaning extreme care
should be taken to prevent water entering the
turbo unit and battery pack. The turbo unit
and battery pack should NEVER be totally
submerged in liquid.
Do not use degreasing fluids, solvents,
abrasive cleaning agents or compressed air to
clean the turbo unit or battery pack.
After wiping, the turbo unit and battery pack
can be either dried with a cloth or allowed to
dry naturally.
Storage & Transportation
The recommended temperature range for
storage is -10°C to +40°C.
Store Flo-Pod™ turbo units and battery packs
in their original packaging. Only remove turbo
units and battery packs from original packag-
ing when intending to use.
Store above ground level in dry conditions free
from harmful gases and vapours and away
from direct sunlight or sources of high tem-
perature.
Never store outdoors or in damp conditions.
Unused Flo-Pod™ turbo units have a shelf-
life of five years; the shelf-life of unused Flo-
Pod™ battery packs is three years.
For shelf-life of P3 filters refer to the relevant
instructions supplied.
Care should be taken to minimize the risk of
damage occurring to Flo-Pod™ turbo units
and battery packs during transportation. It is
strongly recommended that original packaging
is retained for transportation purposes to
prevent impact with hard surfaces, falling
objects or contact with chemicals or solvents.
Alternatively, Flo-Pod™ turbo units and
battery packs may be transported in a suitably
sized rigid container that is resistant to the
hazards described.
