2505GTL—Grand Traditional Logs
For Valor 2500K fireplaces ONLY
Special procedure BEFORE you install the
2505GTL logs in certain conditions
ONLY when meeting following condition (other
installations, proceed to next page):
• IF vent system vertical rise is at minimum, as de-
scribed in fireplace installation manual (does not
apply if vent system is higher than minimum rise)
The air shutter stopper must be replaced.
1. If already installed, remove the fuel bed black steel
platform by lifting it up.
2. Remove the burner, detaching 3 screws, 2 on the
left and 1 on the right, then sliding it to the right to
disengage it and lifting it out.
3. Locate the air shutter stopper on top of the aera-
tion block.

4. Remove two screws holding the stopper and
replace with the air shutter stopper included with
the GTL logs securing it with the two screws in the
position shown below, regardless of gas used.

Reinstall the burner
To reinstall the burner,
1. Slide the burner tube into the injector block under-
neath.
2. Once the burner is in place, secure its left end to
the bracket with 2 screws and its right end to the
end bracket with 1 screw.
