PRODUCT SAFETY

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed, including the following:
1. WARNING: Read all safety warnings and instructions. Failure
to follow the warnings and instructions may result in fire and/or
serious injury.
2. European Union only: Appliances can be used by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play
with the appliance.
3. European Union only: This appliance shall not be used by
children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of
children. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
4. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not put Citrus
Juicer Base, USB Adapter, USB Cable, or Battery in water or
other liquid.
5. This appliance is not intended for use by children or by persons
with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge. Close supervision is necessary
when any appliance is used near children. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
6. Turn the appliance off, remove the Battery when not in use,
before assembling or disassembling parts and before cleaning.
7. Avoid contacting moving parts.
8. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged Battery or USB
Adapter, or after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or
damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest
Authorised Service Facility for examination, repair, or electrical
or mechanical adjustment.
9. The use of accessories/attachments not recommended or sold
by KitchenAid may cause fire, electrical shock, or injury to
persons.
10. Never leave the appliance unattended while it is in operation.
11. Refer to the "Care and Cleaning" section for instructions on
cleaning the surfaces in contact with food.
