10. Keep hands and utensils away from the cutting blade while
chopping food to reduce the risk of severe injury to person, or
damage to the appliance. A scraper may be used, but only
when the appliance is not running.
11. Blades are sharp. Handle thoroughly.
12. To reduce the risk of injury, never place cutting blade on the
Motor Body without first putting Bowl properly in place.
13. Be certain cover is securely locked in place before operating
the appliance.
14. Do not attempt to defeat the cover interlock mechanism.
15. Do not use an extension cord. Plug adapter directly into power
source.
16. Use only with the adapter provided with the appliance. Do not
attempt to use this adapter with any other product. Likewise, do
not attempt to charge this appliance with any other adapter.
17. Do not incinerate this appliance even if it is severely damaged.
The Battery can explode in a fire.
18. Allow the appliance to cool completely before putting on or
taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
19. Refer to the "Care and Cleaning" section for instructions on
cleaning the surfaces in contact with food.
20. Disconnect the Battery from the appliance before making any
adjustments, changing accessories, or storing appliance. Such
preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the
appliance accidentally.
21. Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off
position before connecting to Battery, picking up or carrying the
appliance. Carrying the appliance with your finger on the
switch or energising an appliance with the switch on invites
accidents.
22. Recharge only with the adapter specified by KitchenAid. A
adapter that is suitable for one type of battery may create a risk
of fire when used with another battery.
23. Use appliances only with KitchenAid 12 VDC Battery. Use of
any other batteries may create a risk of injury and fire.
24. When Battery is not in use, keep it away from other metal
objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other
small metal objects, which can make a connection from one
terminal to another. Shorting the Battery terminals together
may cause burns or a fire.
