Before attempting to use or attach your new Weather Shield, read these instructions completely to ensure proper
assembly and operation. If you are unclear on any point, contact BOB Gear by Britax customer service before use.
This product is designed exclusively for use with the BOB IRONMAN/Sport Utility Stroller (single or Duallie)
manufactured after September 2015. It is not intended for use with other strollers or products.
FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE WARNINGS AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS COULD RESULT IN
SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
• When the Weather Shield is used, the stroller rear canopy flap must be in the correct position described
in the installation instructions to ensure proper airflow and avoid danger of suffocation.
• Always make sure all vents are unobstructed.
• Never leave children unattended in stroller, with or without Weather Shield in use.
• Do not use Weather Shield when temperatures exceed 65°F/18°C. Use in higher temperatures can
cause unsafe conditions inside the Weather Shield.
• The Weather Shield is not designed to work with optional Infant Car Seat Adapter with car seat
installed.
• When not in use, keep Weather Shield out of reach of children.
• This cover is not a toy.
Installation Instructions
1. Set parking brake and place stroller seat(s) in
fully upright position (see stroller user guide if
necessary).
2. Fold canopy flap up (Fig. 1) and pull canopy
center back into position (Fig. 2).
3. Recline seat and inspect opening between seat
and canopy to make sure the air passages are
unobstructed.
4. Place Weather Shield on the stroller so its rear
flap drapes over the back of stroller between
the handlebars and the seam above the
window is aligned with the forward canopy
supports (Fig. 3).
5. Stretch the elastic cords on each side of the
Weather Shield under each respective shock
knob (Fig. 4). The elastic cords are located
along each side of the Weather Shield in
between the silver reflective fabric.
