WARNINGS:
• TO AVOID FIRE, SHOCK OR DEATH: TURN OFF POWER SUPPLYING THIS EQUIPMENT,
AND CONFIRM POWER IS OFF, before installing, removing, or servicing this equipment.
• This equipment MUST BE installed and serviced by an electrician.
• Replace all doors and covers before connecting power to this equipment.
• To be installed and/or used in accordance with electrical codes and regulations.
Installation

SUPPLYING THIS EQUIPMENT AND CONFIRM POWER IS OFF, before
installing, removing, or servicing this equipment.
1.
Make sure main circuit breaker handle is in the OFF position.
2.
Remove the load center cover, deadfront assembly, and
CSA compartment cover.
3.
Remove screw from plastic interior directly above the main circuit breaker.
4.
Place LMHPL accessory over main breaker.
a. Insert the included longer screw into the plastic interior panel located
directly above the main circuit breaker.
b. Install screw into bus location above branch circuit breaker position 2.

Handle Padlock Device for Main Circuit Breakers
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

CAUTION:
• READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING.
• SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
5.
Reinstall the CSA compartment cover, deadfront assembly, and
load center cover.
6.
Restore power to the panelboard by moving the handle of the main circuit
breaker to the ON position.
Locking the main circuit breaker OFF
1.
Turn the handle of the main circuit breaker to the OFF position.
2.
Slide padlock provision down over the main circuit breaker handle position.
3.
Install the padlock through hole in the handle padlock device.
NOTE: Use only a padlock with a shackle diameter of 0.25 in (6.35 mm)
or less.
