Directive
The housings are manufactured and test-
ed in accordance with CE standards. Due
to the conformity to the requirements of
the EC Pressure Equipment Directive, the
housings can be "put into circulation" in
the countries of the European Community
without any trade restrictions whatsoever.
Installation
CLEARPOINT water separators undergo
stringent quality control procedures in the
manufacturing plant and are handed over
to the forwarding agent in a perfect con-
dition. Upon arrival of the goods, please
check for any vi-sible damage and, where
appropriate, insist on a corresponding
note on the delivery receipt. Get in touch
immediately with the forwarding agent and
arrange for an assessment of the dam-
age. The manufacturer is not responsible
for any damage caused during transport.
For better filter efficiency, it is recom-
mended to install the device at a prefer-
ably cool, but frost-protected point along
the pipe network. In the case of CLEAR-
POINT models supplied with a BEKOMAT
condensate drain as a standard, please
observe the instructions in the corre-
sponding documentation. The condensate
must be disposed of in compliance with
the valid legal regulations. Condensate
treatment using an ÖWAMAT oil-water
separator or a BEKOSPLIT emulsion split-
ting plant represents a particularly eco-
nomic solution.
Positioning
The housing should be mounted in a ver-
tical position. Observe the direction of
flow which is indicated by an arrow on the
housing.
As an alternative to the usual suspension
within the pipe network, the housing can
also be in a standing position. Radially
welded-on receiving plates allow the op-
timal mounting of feet which can then be
anchored to the floor. The choice of 3 feet
enables secure positioning of the device
even if the floor is not level. If the pipe net-
work is affected by vibration, it is recom-
mended to install vibration dampers.

Les corps des filtres sont fabriqués et
contrôlés selon CE. Grâce à la confor-
mité aux exigences de la directive euro-
péenne sur les équipements sous pres-
sion, la «mise en circulation» est possible
dans toute l'Europe sans aucune entrave
à la commercialisation.
Installation
Les separateurs d'eau CLEARPOINT sont
contrôlés minutieusement lors de la fa-
brication et sont confiés en parfait état
au transporteur. Vérifiez bien que la mar-
chandise livrée ne présente pas de dom-
mages visuels. Dans le cas contraire, il
est impératif de signaler tout endomma-
gement sur le bordereau de livraison.
Contactez sans tarder le transporteur et
faites engager une expertise. Le construc-
teur n'est pas responsable d'un éventuel
endommagement au cours du transport.
Pour augmenter l'efficacité des filtres, il
est recommandé de les installer dans un
endroit frais, mais hors gel, du réseau de
conduites. Sur les modèles équipés de
purgeurs de condensat à régulation de ni-
veau électronique BEKOMAT. Il faut res-
pecter les consignes données dans la do-
cumentation séparée. Le BEKOMAT doit
être installé en utilisant le kit de raccor-
dement (voir dessin, page „Connection
set" auf Seite 9). Lors de l'élimination du
condensat, il faut respecter les prescrip-
tions en vigueur. Une solution particuliè-
rement avantageuse consiste à traiter sur
place le condensat produit, au moyen d'un
séparateur huile-eau, de type ÖWAMAT,
ou d'une unité de fractionnement d'émul-
sions, de type BEKOSPLIT.
Mise en place
Le corps du filtre doit être monté en po-
sition verticale. Il faudra également res-
pecter le sens de circulation du fluide fil-
tré (voir flèche sur le corps). Une alterna-
tive de montage par rapport à la disposi-
tion habituelle suspendue et insérée dans
la conduite consiste à installer le corps en
position „debout". Des plaques de fixation
soudées radialement permettent le mon-
tage optionnel de pieds supports qui peu-
vent être fixés au sol. L'installation sur 3
pieds confère une bonne stabilité au filtre,
quelle que soit la planéité du sol. Si des
vibrations ou oscillations devaient appa-
raître dans le réseau de conduites, nous
recommandons l'utilisation d'amortisseurs
de vibrations.

Richtlijn Drukapparatuur
De huizen zijn conform CE gefabriceerd
en gekeurd. Door de conformiteit met de
vereisten van de Europese richtlijn voor
druktoestellen is het "in-omloop-brengen"
binnen Europa mogelijk zonder enige han-
delsbelemmering.
Installatie
CLEARPOINT-waterafscheiders worden
in de fabriek zorgvuldig getest en in vlek-
keloze toestand aan de expeditiefirma
overgedragen. Controleer de goederen op
zichtbare beschadigingen en breng indien
nodig een desbetreffende aanmerking
op het afleveringsbewijs aan. Breng on-
middellijk de expeditiefirma op de hoogte
en laat een deskundig rapport opstellen.
Voor transportschade is de fabrikant niet
verantwoordelijk. Om de efficiëntie van de
filter te vergroten, is de installatie op een
zo koel mogelijke, maar vorstvrije plaats
in het buisleidingnet aanbevolen. Bij de
uitvoering met het condensaatafvoersys-
teem BEKOMAT met elektronische ni-
veauregeling moeten de instructies van
de afzonderlijke documentaties worden
opgevolgd. De BEKOMAT moet worden
gemonteerd met de aansluitset (zie teke-
ning pagina 9). Bij de verwijdering van het
condensaat moeten steeds de desbetref-
fend wettelijk geldige voorschriften in acht
worden genomen. Bijzonder renderend
is de toebereiding van het ontstane con-
densaat met ofwel een olie-waterscheider
ÖWAMAT of een demulgator BEKOSPLIT.
Opstelling
Het huis moet verticaal worden gemon-
teerd. Hierbij moet men letten op de juiste
doorstromingsrichting (zie pijl op het huis).
Als alternatief voor de gebruikelijke han-
gende plaatsing in de buisleiding kan
het apparaat ook staand worden aange-
bracht. Radiaal aangelaste opneemplaten
maken een optionele montage van steun-
voeten mogelijk, die in de bodem veran-
kerd kunnen worden. Door de keuze van
drie voeten is ook bij oneffen ondergron-
den een stabiele stand mogelijk. Mochten
in het buisleidingnet trillingen optreden,
dan wordt het inzetten van trillingsdem-
pers aanbevolen.
