The Gas Level Indicator works by measuring the cooling effect Of an evaporating liquid. For example,
when your grill is in use, the propane or butane evaporates to replenish the gas you are burning. This
evaporation cools the liquid inside the tank and after a few minutes the liquid cools the outside of the tank
as well.

The Gas Level Indicator is a highly sensitive thermometer that measures the temperature change on the
outside of the tank caused by the evaporation. This difference in temperature causes one or more co-
lumns on the Gas Level Indicator to change color right where the tank changes temperature. The vertical
indication is the most important. The level is indicated where the most bar changes color. The horizontal
indication also measures the environment temperature.
In order to work correctly the Gas Level Indicator should be
kept out of direct sunlight.
The Gas Level Indicator only works when gas using
equipment is connected and in use. When the level
in the tank is above
no level
Indicator up or down to detect the level if desired.
Thanks to the magnetic backside the Gas Level Indicator
can be placed or replaced easily on the gas tank.
Can be used by propane and butane gas.
