When attaching the garden hose to the out-tube and/or the leader hose to the in-tube, be sure to attach correctly (Fig. 1). Cross-threading could cause permanent damage. 2. Before winding your hose, remove the accessory and drain as much water out of the hose as possible.

  • Page 6 2. CAUTION: Do not cross-thread the Leader Hose onto the In-tube. See page 2 for details. Check that In-tube has a washer inside the threads. If the washer is missing, call Suncast or consult your local hardware store for the correct washer needed.
  • Page 7 3. The ergonomic mounting height for the STA125B is at a height of 39 1/2". To achieve this, measure and place a pencil mark 24" from the side of the unit to water supply. Next to the 24" mark, measure and 39 1/2", 39 1/2 po (1 m), place a pencil mark 39 1/2"...
  • Page 8 4. NOTE: Hardware supplied is for mounting unit to wood. Consult your local hardware store for alternate mounting supplies and instructions. It is recommended to use a 5/16" socket and small extension to install fasteners. To maintain structural integrity of the hose reel and create an even hose wrap, attach the Hose Reel by vertically aligning three of the mounting holes.
  • Page 9 5. Open the tube of Lubricant (F) and apply a thin layer on the in- tube o-rings. NOTE: Save the remaining contents of the lube and use to apply to your o-rings once every year. This will extend the life of the o-rings.
