INSTRUCTIONS
USING THE AREA LIGHT
TheEAL22is built with a mufti-setting lighting seq
uence,as well as red and flashing redcolor modes
Usethe powerbutton to turn on the area light, as wel
as cyclethrough low (warm),medium, and high bright
ness settings in that order.While the light is on, hold
down the powerbutton for three secondsto activate
re d mode . Once activated, u sethe power b uttonto cycle
between red and flashing red modes,as well as to shut
off the EAL22
POWERING THE AREA LIGHT
TheEAL22is poweredbythree D alkaline batteries
(not included). Monitor battery life with the battery
life indicator. Whie the power button glows green,
thebatteriesretainsufficientcharge forcontinued use
Oncethe powerbutton turns red, it's time to change
the batteries Tochangethe batteries, rotate the base
ofthe arealightcounterclockwise andopen the battery
compartment. Remove all three batteries, discard, and
install three new, size D batteries. Besure the batteries

CARRYING AND HANGING THE LIGHT
TheEAL22 iseqmpped witha foldinghandleforarea
lighting on the move,as well as a pair of integrated
carabiner hooksfor two distinct hands-freeapplications
Tohang the area light, raise the integrated carabiner
hookthat is built into the cap of the EAL22and clip
the carabiner hookonto an appropriatetether. Be sure
the carabiner gate is closed before letting go Touse
the EAL22as an overheadlight, first removethe poly
carbonate diffuser by rotating the cap counterclock
wiseuntil it canberemoved fromthe bodyof arealight
A second integrated carabiner hookis built into the base
of the EAL22 Raisethe carabiner hookand clip it onto
anoverhead t ether Asbefore,besure the gateof the
carabiner has closed beforereleasing the EAL22
