4). Take the measuring cup prepared in advance from the
freezer, remove the cover and put it into the steel cup
holder (8). Then, install it in the seat on the support
surface turning it clockwise to the stop position. The
appliance is now ready for use.
NOTE: Do not freeze the ingredients at temperatures
below - 24°C, the appliance could stop due to the
excessive effort required.
5). When you close the door you will hear the click of the
safety system that releases the shaft to let it turn.
6). Press "START" (C): the cycle will start and the cycle
running indicator (D) will turn on. This step lasts about
two minutes.
7). When the support surface returns to the initial position,
a sound indicates that the cycle is over. Only now can
the door be opened and the cup holder removed.
8). If the resulting mousse is not as velvety as desired or is
too cold, repeat the processing cycle.
VERY IMPORTANT: when the appliance is on, the door must
be closed, as shown by the indicator (B) turned off. A safety
switch locks all appliance functions when the door is
opened.
The appliance can be safely started only when al indicators
a r e o f f e x c e p t t h e " v o l t a g e o n " i n d i c a t o r .
"FAST" BUTTON
The "FAST" (E) button allows faster processing by
decreasing the support surface elevation time. This function
could be used to rework an already processed mixture or
when the recipe requires this type of processing.
WARNING! Using this function when not expressly
indicated could impair appliance operation and damage
the blade.

WASHING CYCLE

This feature is used to clean the blade while using the
appliance, when simple rinsing is sufficient and no deep
cleaning is needed.
Proceed as described in "Start up", filling the measuring
cup with hot water up to the mark. Press "CLEAN" (H): the
washing cycle starts and it finishes when the cup returns to
the initial position.
WARNING! Don't use detergents with high suds
production.
ALARM FEATURES
FRIXAIR features an alarm and reset system to discontinue
any processing cycle while in progress to preserve
appliance integrity.
•RESET (F) indicator: it denotes an appliance fault due to
the door being opened while running or due to temporary
power failure or because the frozen mixture is too hard.
The ingredients should not be frozen at temperatures
below -24°C. To resume processing, press and hold the
"RESET"(G) button for a few seconds until the alarm
indicator (F) turns off: the appliance returns to the initial
conditions and is now ready to resume the cycle.
•"RESET" (G) button: pressing this button resets all
functions, interrupts the running cycle and returns the
appliance to its initial condition.
NOTE: opening the door while the appliance is running
stops the unit in its current position and indicator (B) turns

on. Close the door again and press and hold the "RESET"
(G) button for a few seconds: the appliance returns to the
initial conditions and is now ready to resume the cycle.

CLEANING THE APPLIANCE AND ITS ACCESSORIES

Before cleaning the appliance, open the door to lock the
shaft with the blade, turn off the unit by the switch and
disconnect the power supply cord.
•CLEANING THE COATING. To clean the outside and inside
steel coating, rub it with a damp cloth using an appropriate
detergent available on the market. Clean the door with the
same procedure, using a soft cloth to prevent scratching
the glass.
NEVER IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE IN WATER OR ANY
OTHER LIQUID. DO NOT WASH WITH WATER JETS. DO
NOT USE SOLVENTS.
•CLEANING ACCESSORY PARTS. All accessories, that is,
steel cup holder (8), measuring cup (7), cover (6),
processing blades (4) and (5) and rubber seal (3), can be
washed in a washing machine. Remove the blade using
the supplied tool (10). The rubber seal and the blade
coupling to the driving shaft should be cleaned very
carefully. For plastic parts, the washing machine cycle
should not exceed a temperature of 80°C.
NOTE: the processing blade (5) is made of stainless steel.
It could undergo surface oxidation: once you have cleaned
it, slightly lubricate it using specific food-grade grease or
oil. Use to same procedure to lubricate the meat chopping
knife.
Always check that the appliance is perfectly dry before
reconnecting it to the mains.
WHAT TO DO IF ...
•During the working cycle, FRIXAIR stops and the alarm
indicator turns on.
The appliance is overloaded. The dose in the cup is too
large, and it exceeds the reference mark on the cup, or the
mixture is at a temperature below -24°C. To solve the
problem, press the "RESET" button, remove the
measuring cup and fix the above problems; amounts and
temperature.
•The processing blade cannot be screwed on as the shaft
turns freely.
The motor lock has not tripped. Repeat the stop operation
once again.
Keep the door closed and press the master switch, then
open the door and release the master switch. In this way,
the shaft is locked.
•The control panel displays wrong indications.
The electronic card is faulty. Turn off the appliance by
switch (2), disconnect the plug from the socket and try
again after 20 seconds. If the fault continues, contact an
authorized service centre.
