To use, connect the power cord (1) to the
addiQuick Hobby plug (2). The heart of the
machine is the felting needle with barbed
hooks (3). Once set, it will automatically ex-
tend forward from the black shaft when swit-
ched on (4).
The needle pierces the wool approximately
2,500 times per minute. Because of the
barbed hooks, the fibres are felted together
every time the needle is applied. This pro-
cess is repeated until a solid and complete
layer of felt has formed. In this manner, any
shape can be created.

NOTE!
Always place a base (e.g., sponge, foam)
under the felt and never hold your finger
under the needle.
The addiQuick Hobby can be used with va-
rious felting needle gauges: fine and co-
arse.
The finer the needle, the finer the contours
and the smoother the surface will be. Finer
needles are therefore used for delicate
pieces. The coarse needles are designed
for larger objects and initial shaping,
because the bigger barbed hooks felt
more wool fibres together.
