    DRILL SPEED Model 5079 has a gear ratio of 1.5 to 1. When the drill chuck is installed on the end of the Right Angle Drill marked HIGH, the drill bit speed will be greater than the RPM shown on the specification plate on the drill.
  • Page 3 NOTE: MODEL 7554 TYPES 3, 4 and 5, have a spacer on the spindle behind the chuck. This spacer must be removed from the drill spindle, and be used behind the chuck on the 5079 (a spare spacer (M), Fig. 3, is fumished with the 5079).

  • Page 5 DRIVE Place spacer (M), Fig. 3, and brass washer (N) onto the selected end of the 5079 attachment (HIGH or LOW). NOTE: Failure to install the brass washer (N) between the spacer (M) and the chuck can cause the chuck to seize to the shaft.
  • Page 6 AUXILIARY HANDLE The auxiliary handle furnished with your Porter-Cable Drill screws directly into either side of the Right Angle Drive Attachment. WARNING: On double insulated drills, the Right Angle Attachment may be made live if the tool drills into live wiring in a wall. TO PREVENT ACCIDENTAL ELECTRICAL SHOCK, THE AUXILIARY HANDLE MUST BE USEDAND HELD.

Instale el tornillo de retenciön (B), Fig.
  • Page 11 (M), Fig. 3, y la arandela de lat6n (N) en el extremo seleccionado del aditamento 5079 (HIGH o LOW, es decir, ALTA o BAJA). NOTA: Si no se instala la arandela de latön (N) entre el separador (M) y el mandril, el resultado puede ser que el mandril se agarrote en el eje.
  • Page 12 Empuje el aditamento en angulo recto hacia el interior del manguito tanto como se pueda y empuje el manguito sobre el taladro tanto como se pueda. Gire el aditamento hasta que el mandril esté en la posiciön deseada y utilice dos llaves de tuerca de 1/2" para apretar firmemente los tornillos (G) y las tuercas (K).
