Tips - Energy saving
• Install the appliance in a cool, dry and suitably ventilated room.
• Take care not to expose the device to direct sunlight and never place it near a direct
heat source (near a radiator, for example).
• Never block the ventilation holes or grilles of the device.
• Allow food to cool before placing it in the appliance.
• Place frozen products in the refrigerator to thaw them.
• The low temperature of frozen products will help cool the food in the refrigerator.
• Defrost freezer when ice builds up. A thick layer of ice risks altering the transfer of
cold to the frozen products and thus increasing the appliance's energy consumption.
• Do not leave the appliance doors open for too long when putting food in or removing
food from the appliance.
• The less ice will form in the freezer if you leave the door open for as short a time as
possible.
• When you freeze food or want to store it in the freezer, place it directly in the upper
freezer compartment.
