UNPACKING INSTRUCTION
CAUTION! Carefully unpack the box upon receipt. Check the contents to ensure that all parts are present and have been
received in good condition. Notify the shipper immediately and retain packaging material if any parts appear damaged from
shipping or the package itself shows signs of mishandling. Save the package and all packaging materials. If the product must be
returned, it is important that the product is returned in the original factory box and packaging.
If the device has been exposed to drastic temperature fluctuation (e.g. after transportation), do not switch it on immediately. The
arising condensation water might damage your device. Leave the device switched off until it has reached room temperature.
POWERSUPPLY
The label on the back/under side of the product indicates the mains voltage to which it must be connected. Check that the mains
voltage corresponds to this. Any other voltage than the one indicated may cause irreparable damage to the unit. The unit must
also be connected directly to the mains voltage and no dimmer or adjustable power supply may be used.
Always connect the device to a protected circuit (circuit breaker or fuse). Make sure the device has an appropriate
electrical ground to avoid the risk of electrocution or fire.
INSTALLATION
Connecting speakers:
Connect the speaker cables to the speaker terminals on the back of the receiver.
IMPORTANT: For spring-clamp connections, press the red (positive) or black (negative) terminals and insert the speaker cable
into the slot. Then release the terminals.
The speakers have an easy installation with screw mounting on the wall.
100 VOLT
1. If the 100Volt system is turned on, turn it off before connecting.
2. Connect the speaker(s) to the 100V amplifier output, using a two-core 100Volt suitable cable. Always insulate the unused
connection cables.
3. If you are connecting multiple speakers, make sure that all speakers have the same polarity and that the amplifier is not
overloaded.
Always make sure that the output signal is not distorted and that your speakers will not get damaged. When distortions can be
heard, either the amplifier or the speaker is overloaded. In order to avoid damage, reduce the volume immediately when
distortions can be heard. When speakers are destroyed by overload, the guarantee becomes void. Cabling of a 100 Volt system
belongs to an electrical installation which may only be carried out by a qualified electrician!
The total load must not exceed the rated power of the amplifier. Before starting the installation, make clear how many speakers
you want to install in the room and with what wattage(s), as overload will damage the amplifier and speaker.
Make sure you are using a powerful enough amplifier for your setup speakers. It is recommended to have about 20% of reserve
power.
