Function
The XVA205 card (TIC and P1 RF) is a gate-
way that enables the exchange of meter
data between an electronic energy meter of
the previous or new generation and a Hager
brand charging station.
This card receives electrical consumption
data from the electronic meter in real time and
transmits it to the charging station controller.
10 s
This controls the dynamic charging of the
vehicle by adjusting the vehicle's charging
current according to household consumption.
Correct use
− Installation in a charging station for
electric vehicles of type XVR107Cxx,
XVL122Cxx, XVL122Sxx and XVR111Cxx,
XVR111Sxx, XVR107Sxx.
− Communication with a new generation
meter or an electronic meter with a wire-
less TIC output
− Communication with a meter via the P1
gateway
For commissioning, please

Installation
Danger
Electric shock when live parts
are touched!
An electric shock can lead to
death!
•
Isolate all power before work-
ing on the device and cover
any live parts in the area!
•
Pay attention to all circuit
breakers and circuit breakers
that supply potentially hazard-
ous voltages.
Precautionary measures during installation
Caution
Electronic components such as
this card can be damaged by
electrostatic discharge (ESD)
when removed from the pack-
aging.
To insert this card correctly, please proceed
as follows:
•
Only hold the edges of the card to avoid
touching sensitive components.
•
Wear an anti-static strap when handling
the card to prevent damage. If no an-
ti-static tape is available, regularly touch
an earthed metal surface before installing
the PCB to keep static electricity away
from the body.
•
Store the card in the ESD packaging or
on an antistatic surface as long as it is not
installed.
