STEP 7
Route the free end of the strap (9#) around the top of the longer arms of the
J-cradle. Pull and route both the buckle end and free end of the strap (9#) over the
kayak. Pull down the free end of the strap (9#) until the buckle end of the kayak.
Thread the free end of the is positioned halfway up the side strap (9#) down and
under the crossbar. See figure 4.
Press the buckle and insert the free end through the buckle. Pull down the free end
to take up the excessive strap to avoid the excessive strap flapping in the wind.
STEP 8
Repeat step 6 and step 7 for the other kayaks.
