View settings:
The SET button allows you to adjust in the following order: the format of the 12 or 24H
time, the hours, minutes, the year, the month, the date of the day and the language.
- Time format: Press the SET button for 2 seconds. The "24Hr" format will flash. Press the
UP or DOWN button to change the format to "12Hr" or to go back to the "24Hr" format. If
you choose the 12Hr format, the letters AM or PM will appear in front of the time
depending on the time of day. Press the SET button again to validate your choice.
- Time: After validating the format, the default set time will appear. Use the UP and DOWN
buttons to set the hours, then press the SET button again to set the minutes. Again, press
the UP and DOWN buttons to set the minutes. Use the SET key to validate.
- The year: After setting the time, the default year (2009) will flash. Press the UP and DOWN
buttons to change the year. Press the SET button again to validate.
- Month: The figure of the month, bottom left will flash. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to
adjust it, then press the SET button to validate.
- The date: Same operation as the setting of the month.
- The day of the week: It automatically adjusts according to the year, month and date you
have selected.
- Language: After validating the date, the language choices will flash in the "DAY" box where
the days of the week are displayed. You can choose from 7 languages: GER (German), ENG
(English), ITA (Italian), FRE (French), DUT (Dutch), SPA (Spanish) and DAN (Danish). Use the
UP and DOWN buttons to select the language of your choice. Tap SET to validate.
- The ambient temperature unit: The one that is put by default is the degree Celsius. You
can change it to Fahrenheit by pressing the DOWN button and put it back on degree Celsius
when you want. Temperatures range from -9.9C to 59.9°C and 14.18°F to 121.82°F.
Alarm setting:
1. Press the ALARM button for two seconds. The hours will flash. Use the UP and DOWN
buttons to set the time. Once the hours are set, press ALARM again to move to the minutes.
Again, use the UP and DOWN buttons to set the minutes. Press ALARM a third time to
validate.
2. To activate the alarm, press the ALARM button and a bell will appear. To disable it, press
the ALARM button again, the bell will disappear.
3. The alarm will sound for 2 minutes if you do not press SNOOZE/LIGHT (button on top).
As the seconds go by, the alarm speeds up.
4. The SNOOZE/LIGHT button (see product description) allows you to raise the alarm to 5
minutes.
5. To stop the alarm completely, press any other button.
Backlight:
The SNOOZE/LIGHT button display blue backlights for 5 seconds.
The European directive 2012/19/EC about electronic and electric waste, requires
that you can't throw away defective domestic appliance with common waste. Used device
has to be collect separately to optimize the recuperation rate and the recycling of the
materials to reduce the impact on the health and the environment.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capacities, or by persons lacking in experience or knowledge, unless they
are supervised or instructed on the use of this apparatus by a person responsible for their
safety.Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with this appliance.
Precision and precautions about the battery use
Throwing away a used battery in the environment or with household waste pollutes

and avoids the recuperation of reusable materials.
It is important to limit the battery consumption and to respect the following rules:

Favor alkaline battery (last longer than saline battery) and when it's possible use
rechargeable battery.
Leave used batteries and accumulators in adapted containers that you can find in
some retailers. In that way, metals don't pollute the environment and the health.
Battery has to be inserted by respecting the polarity show on the apparel and the
o
battery. An incorrect positioning can damage the apparel, cause leaking and even provoke
fire and the explosion of the battery.
To assure a good functioning, battery has to be in a good condition. If there is a
o
problem, put new battery.
Never try to recharge battery not made for this. It could leak, warm up, cause fire
o
or explode.
Replace all the battery at the same time. Never mix up alkaline battery with saline
o
battery.
Used battery has to be removed.
o
Also, remove the battery if you're not using the apparel for a long time.
o
Never try to short-circuit the terminal of a battery.
o
Never throw away the battery in fire because they can explode.
o
Take out the accumulator from the apparel before reload it.
