GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

The operating instructions provide important information on
handling the appliance. The operating instructions must be
read carefully before starting any work!
It is an integral part of the product and must be kept in the
immediate vicinity of the appliance, accessible and carefully
stored at all times.
If you sell or pass on this product, it is essential that you also
hand over these instructions.
For safety and authorisation reasons, it is not permitted to
convert and/or modify this appliance or use it in a manner
that is not appropriate.
The prerequisite for safe working is compliance with the
specified safety and handling instructions.
It must be checked whether the place of use is suitable and
the local accident prevention regulations and general safety
regulations applicable at the place of use of the device must
be observed.
The components of the vehicle are not affected.
Ensure that the device cannot come into contact with moving
parts and that the loudspeaker is not covered.
If vehicles or rooms have already been visited by martens,
the animals have most likely left scent marks to identify their
territory. These odours must be removed before the device
is installed (in the vehicle, this is best done by washing the
engine).
Please note that the appliance must be removed be-
fore washing the motor!
Clean the appliance with a damp cloth if it is dirty. Do not use
harsh cleaning agents or solvents.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance is not intended for use by children under 8
years of age, but may be used by older children under su-
pervision. Appliances can be used by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experi-
ence and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved.
Children must not play with the appliance.
Only operate the appliance with the voltage intended for it:
6 V, 2 x type C / LR14.
Never use the device for purposes other than those described
in these operating instructions. In particular, make sure that
the device is never exposed to people or pets at close range
(less than 1 metre) for long periods of time.
Never hold the device directly to your ear. Humans cannot
hear frequencies > 20 kHz, but there is a high sound pres-
sure level that can strain the ear over a longer period of time.
The symbol of the "crossed-out wheelie bin" on an
article or on packaging indicates that the article and
its packing cannot be disposed of in normal house-
hold waste. The article must be taken to an appropriate col-
lecting point for the return and recycling of old electrical and
electronic devices. Batteries have to be removed and dis-
posed of separately. For more precise information on dispos-
ing of this device, please contact your local authority, the
waste disposal service in your region or the specialist retailer
from whom you bought this device.

Features: The animals are not harmed.The ultra-sonic mar-
ten repellent emits different ultrasonic frequencies and the
LED strobe lights flash to create a repellent environment for
martens and rodents so the animals leave the protected area.
Safety for your car: The device requires 2 type C alkaline bat-
teries. Wiring to the vehicle's electronics is not necessary and
the vehicle's components are not affected.
Long battery life: The ultrasonic marten repeller has a low
power consumption. A set of 2 new type C batteries (min.
4500 mA) usually lasts 62 days with continuous operation of
24 hours per day.
Automatic standby mode: The ultrasonic marten repellent is
only switched on when the vehicle is stationary. The device
automatically switches to energy-saving standby mode if vi-
brations are detected while driving. When the vibrations stop,
the device starts operating automatically.
