CONCEPTION OF THE LAMP
The 513 EDF is a portable lamp for intervention.
Composed of 3 parts :
wall bracket - portable lamp - electric cable
wall bracket
switch button
ON / AUTO / OFF

OPERATING INSTRUCTION
When the lamp operates on the mains supply its light sources switch-off
and the battery is being recharged.
The recharge and the good operation at least of one of the light sources are
indicated by the switch-on of the charge monitor.
The operating depends on the position of the switch on/off button located on
the portable lamp.
- «Off» position :
No automatical switch on of the light sources in case of mains failure. This
position also enable to switch-off the unit when it is used as a portable lamp.
- «Auto» position :
Automatic switch-on of the light sources in case of mains failure.
- «On» position (instable) :
Test of the switch-on of the light sources when mains is connected and switch-
on of the light sources when the unit is used as a portable lamp.
MOUNTING AND WIRING
Fix the wall bracket using it as a drill templet.
Put the unit on the wall bracket.
Connect the lamp to the mains.
Switch on the mains supply.
Check that the charge monitor has illuminated.
The unit will be operating after a complete charge of 24 hours (battery is
delivered discharged).
CHECKING THE INSTALLATION
Leave the lamp on charge for a few minutes with the on/off button on the «auto»
position.
Deconnect the plug from the lamp. The charge monitor switch-off and the light
sources switch-on.
Check the switch-on and the switch-off of the light sources by occasioning
the on-off button.
The portable lamp being switched-on, reconnect the plug.
Check the automatic extinguishing of the light sources and the switch-on of the
charge monitor.
REPLACING OF THE LAMPS
Remove the diffuser with a small screwdriver.
Replace the defective lamp using the one indicated by the manufacturer.

MAINTENANCE
The battery must be replaced every 4 years or as soon as it does
not achieve its nominal duration.
ENVIRONMENT
The battery contains cadmium which is harmful for the environment
as per the European Directive 98/101/CE of 22.12.98. At the end of
the battery life, please contact the relevant local authorities to
arrange for proper disposal or send it back to us so we may recycle
it.
WARRANTY
This unit is guaranteed for two years from the manufacturing date
subject to a use in conformity to the manufacturer instructions.
In case of failure during the warranty period, we agrees to repair without
invoicing neither the manpower nor the spare parts, except the lamps
and the fuses.
