6.4 Tare Function
1. Switch on the scales.
2. Place the tare item on the platform.
3.
Press the tare button once and wait for the display to show "0.00".
4.
Add the net weight.
6.5 Calibration
1. Switch on the scales.
2. Press and hold the mode button and wait for the display to show "CAL". The required calibration
weight will flash on the display. Put the calibration weight in the centre of the platform.
3. Calibration is complete when the display shows "PASS".
4. The scales go back to the normal weighing mode.

Cleaning and Maintenance

The scales do not need any particular maintenance. However, it is advisable to clean them occasionally to
keep them looking like new.
