Intended Use
The Mc Crypt M10 active monitor boxes are used to strengthen audio signals and to convert
them to audible sound waves.
The input may be connected only to the low-level audio outputs from audio devices.
This product may only be powered using the enclosed power unit. The power unit is approved
only for connection to 100 – 240 V/50 – 60 Hz alternating current.
The product may only be used indoors; never outdoors. Contact with moisture, for example in
bathrooms, must be avoided.
Any other use than that described above, could lead to damage to this product and involves the
risk of short circuits, fi re, electric shock, etc.
The whole product cannot be altered or rebuilt and the casing should not be opened.
Always observe the safety instructions.

these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any consequential
damage!
Nor do we assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by
improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions! The warranty will
be void in such cases.

The symbol with the lightning in the triangle is used when your health is at
risk, e.g. through an electric shock The device contains no parts that should be
serviced by the user. Therefore, do not open the device.
• For safety reasons, any unauthorised conversion and/or modifi cation to the product is not
permitted.
• The loudspeakers may be supplied with energy only through the enclosed power supply unit.
Connect the mains adapter only to a normal mains socket (100 - 240 V/50/60 Hz) of the public
mains supply.
• Observe the appropriate commissioning of the device. Therefore, please follow the operating
instructions carefully.
• When setting up the loudspeakers, make sure that the mains cable is not pinched or damaged
by sharp edges.
• Devices that operate on the mains voltage must be kept out of the reach of children. For this
reason, be particularly cautious when using the speakers in the presence of children. There is
danger of a life-threatening electric shock.
• Never position vessels or containers containing liquids, such as glasses, buckets, vases or
plants, on or in the direct vicinity of the product. Liquids may seep into the casing and thus impair
the electrical safety of the device. Furthermore, there is a signifi cant risk of fi re or a lethal electric
shock! If this is the case, de-energise the appropriate socket (e.g. switch off circuit breaker)
before removing the plug-in mains unit from the socket. Disconnect all cables from the device.
The product must not be operated any longer. Take it to a specialist workshop.
• Do not expose the loudspeakers to high temperatures, dripping or spray water, strong vibra-
tion or high mechanical loads.
• Never plug the device into a mains socket immediately after the device has been taken from
a cold into a warm environment. The condensation that forms might damage your unit. Allow
the device to reach room temperature before connecting it. Wait until the condensation has
evaporated.
• Never touch the mains plug when your hands are wet.
• Never remove mains plugs from the mains socket by pulling the cable. Always pull out the
mains plug by gripping it on the surfaces provided for the purpose.
• Always disconnect the power unit from the mains socket, if the device is not going to be used
for a while.
• To ensure adequate ventilation, there must be an open space of 5 cm around the speaker
housing. In addition, the air circulation must not be obstructed by objects such as magazines,
tablecloths, curtains or similar.
• For safety reasons, always remove the mains plug from the mains socket during thunder-
storms.
• Do not place open sources of fi re such as burning candles on the speakers or in their direct
vicinity.
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. It may become a dangerous plaything for children.
• Never use the speakers without supervision.
